摘要： A camera comprises a photographic information output circuit section, a CPU, a PPM signal conversion circuit section, a drive section for a plurality of magnetic heads, and a film feeding section. The CPU converts several parallel data items which are output from the photographic information output circuit section into a single serial data item and outputs it to the PPM signal conversion circuit section provided separately from the CPU. The PPM signal conversion circuit section converts this single serial data item into several PPM signals, and then supplies the PPM signals to the magnetic head drive section.

摘要： The present invention is applicable to a camera capable of reading in film specific information recorded by means of a bar code. This film specific information is inscribed upon a display portion which rotates together with the forwarding of a film stored within a cartridge. The camera includes: a photointerruptor which optically reads the bar code on the bar code display portion as the bar code display portion rotates together with the forwarding of the film, and which outputs as an electrical signal of the result thus read; a comparator which compares the output signal from the photointerruptor with a threshold level; a calculation device for calculating a standard value for setting the threshold level based upon the output signal from the photointerruptor; a reference value control device which controls the threshold level according to the standard value; and a determination device which determines the film specific information based upon the output of the comparator.

摘要： A polling system for use in an audio system in which a plurality of controllers for controlling a plurality of input/output devices of the audio system and a system controller for controlling the status of the plurality of controllers are connected via a bus line. In an initial polling operation upon power-up of the system, the system controller in order confirms the connection of the plurality of controllers to the system and stores the results of confirmation. When the absence of connection of the controllers is confirmed in the initial polling operation, the system controller further monitors the level on a transmission line provided in the bus line for transmitting a requesting signal from the plurality of controllers to the system controller, and performs the polling operation once more if the presence of the requesting signal is confirmed.

The clamp mechanism includes a pressing member arranged to come into contact with one surface of the disk mounted on the turntable at the other surface of the disk to perform a disk clamping operation in cooperation with the turntable, and a support arm arranged to be movable relative to the turntable between a clamping position and a non-clamping position and for rotatably supporting the pressing member. The supporting arm is movable along a plane parallel to the disk carrying surface.

摘要： The invention relates to a multilayer ceramic capacitor having dielectric layers and internal electrode layers disposed alternately. The dielectric layers include a dielectric ceramic containing barium titanate as a main component, and also calcium, magnesium, vanadium, manganese, and a rare-earth element. Crystals constituting the dielectric ceramic are constituted by grains containing barium titanate as their main component and containing calcium in a concentration of 0.2 atomic % or less or containing the calcium in a concentration of 0.4 atomic % or more. The crystals grains are also distinct in their relative distributions of magnesium and rare-earth elements between the center of the grain and the surface of the grain. Finally, the relative areas of the two kinds of crystals observed in the plane of a polished surface of the dielectric ceramic are described by a ratio b/(a+b), which is 0.5 to 0.8.

摘要： An information recording device of a camera permits recording of more information with an appropriate recording density without monitoring the film feeding speed constantly. The information recording device includes a feeding assembly to feed film mounted in a camera by a motor. A recording assembly records photographic information in the film recording area during film feeding. A feeding speed control assembly starts duty-driving of the motor to reduce the film feeding speed at the first timing and to stop the motor to halt film feeding at a later second timing. The recording control assembly permits recording of the photographic information by the recording assembly until a third timing that is later than the first timing but earlier than the second timing.
