Abstract:
A JFET 4 to be an antenna buffer for an AM broadcasting signal is constituted in a source follower form of a 100% negative feedback type, and a tuning circuit including a variable capacitive circuit 7 and a transformer 6 is provided in a subsequent stage to the JFET 4 and an amplifying circuit including MOSFETs 10 and 11 is provided in a further subsequent stage thereto. Consequently, it is possible to reduce a signal distortion rate in the JFET 4 and to eliminate a drawback that every frequency component enters the amplifying circuit to saturate the amplifying circuit, resulting in an occurrence of a distortion in an output signal. By switching a plurality of capacitors CT1, CT2, . . . CTn to cause a capacitance value to be variable without using a varactor diode, it is possible to integrate the capacitors CT1, CT2, . . . CTn in an IC 20.
Abstract:
A received signal level is detected in each of a wide band, middle band, and narrow band and each detected signal is converted to a digital signal. A DSP 18 determines the enabled/disabled state of an LNA 3 and an attenuator 4 as well as a gain adjustment amount based on the signal level of each band. For example, the gain adjustment is not performed when the signal level of the narrow band including a desired frequency is not larger than a prescribed value even the signal level of the wide band or middle band is larger than a prescribed value. When the signal level of the narrow band is larger than the prescribed value exceeding a gain adjustable limit level in the attenuator 4, the gain of the LNA 3 is adjusted, while maintaining the gain adjustable amount in the attenuator 4 around the limit level, to reduce the gain as a whole.
Abstract:
Provided are image display apparatus and image display methods capable of suitably making correction for variation of driving conditions due to an electric resistance of matrix wiring of a display panel by downsized hardware. The apparatus and methods involve a device of calculating voltage drop amounts caused by the resistance of row wires, for input image data, and a device of calculating image data with correction for the voltage drop amounts (corrected image data). An overflow processing circuit is provided so as to prevent overflow of the image data after the correction from an input range of a modulator, and the overflow is prevented by a gain. Since a gradation converter for changing a gradation conversion characteristic by a gain is provided in the stage preceding to the configuration for making the correction for influence of the voltage drop, it becomes feasible to cancel saturation characteristics of phosphors and to display images with high quality thereby.

The deposition mass are retained to the base plate by engaging unit in a disengageable manner, and alignment marks used for positioning the deposition masks on the base plate are formed on the base plate. In addition a method and apparatus for fabricating the integrated mask, a method and apparatus for manufacturing an organic EL device using the integrated mask, and an organic EL device are provided.
Abstract:
In an image display apparatus, image data on which gradation conversion for compensating phosphor saturation has been carried out by a gradation convertor (200) undergoes voltage drop compensation and then amplitude regulation using a gain (Gd) before being fed to modulating means (8). Here, the gradation convertor (200) changes its conversion characteristic (the region of a compensation table it uses) in accordance with the value of the gain (Gd) As a result it is possible to compensate the affects of phosphor saturation characteristics and voltage drop and an excellent image can be displayed.
Abstract:
According to the method of manufacturing a surface acoustic wave device of the invention, since a conductor layer is formed on electrode sections in a state where the entire regions of inter digital transducer and reflectors are covered with an insulating film, the inter digital transducer and the reflectors are protected by the insulating film during formation of the conductor layer. As a result, it is possible to obtain a highly efficient surface acoustic wave device with no sticking of foreign matters to the inter digital transducer and the reflectors.
