    摘要: Apparatuses and method for real-time measuring ultrashort pulse shape and pulse width. Transient-grating effect on a transparent optical medium is used to generate a reference beam. A black plate with four equal-sized holes divides the incoming laser beam into four beams, one of which is attenuated and introduced an appropriate time delay relative to the other three. The four laser beams pass through a concave mirror and are focused onto a nonlinear transparent optical medium. The three beams without attenuation are used to generate a transient-grating light in the transparent medium. The transient-grating light is collinear and overlapped with the fourth attenuated beam. According to the third-order nonlinear effect, the transient-grating light has a broader spectral bandwidth and more smooth spectrum phase with respect to the incident laser. By measuring the spectral interference, the spectrum and spectral phase may be retrieved by spectral interferometry.

    摘要: An illumination device comprises a laser source, a beam expander, a micromirror array having a first control system, a fast steering mirror having a second control system, a diaphragm array, a microlens array, an illumination lens group, and a reflection mirror sequentially along the propagation direction of the laser beam. The first control system comprises a first computer controlling each micromirror on the micro-mirror array through the micromirror array controller to rotate in two-dimensional directions so expanded beam forms desired intensity patterns on the diaphragm array after reflected by the micromirror array and fast reflection mirror and a micromirror array controller; the second control system comprises a second computer controlling the reflection mirror of the fast steering mirror to rotate through fast steering mirror controller so created intensity pattern moves relative to the diaphragm array and a fast steering mirror controller. Method for using the illumination device is provided.

The prism beam expander adjustment apparatus has a light source, a baseplate, a precise rotary stage, support columns, a two-dimensional slide stage, the first 90-degree bellcrank lever, an indication light source, the second 90-degree bellcrank lever, an optical filter, a photodetector, a computer, and an assembly platform. Incidence angles of all prisms of a prism beam expander can be precisely demarcated and designed beam magnification is obtained with the preferred adjustment methods. The parallel of the prisms can be guaranteed by monitoring the pitching of the prisms in the adjustment process. As a result, the linewidth narrowing and cavity losses decreasing can be improved by application of the fixed prism beam expander.

    摘要: An electric resistance welding method for a dissimilar metal joint used for welding a laminated structure, with an outer layer being composed of iron or iron-based alloy, and an inner layer being composed of a metal with a density of less than 5 g/cm3 or a melting point of lower than 800° C. The electric resistance welding method comprises an expulsion stage in which a light metal or low-melting-point metal in the middle of the laminated structure is separated in a splashing mode, so that a connecting structure is directly formed between iron or iron-based alloy layers in a welding interface to complete welding. According to the invention, the formation of brittle intermetallic compounds on the welding interface of the dissimilar joint can be avoided, thereby improving the mechanical properties of the joint and achieving reliable connection between dissimilar metals. The invention further provides a dissimilar metal joint.
