Abstract: An aperture unit having an optical axis is provided, which includes a fixed portion having a positioning recess, a guiding element movably connected to the fixed portion and accommodated in the first accommodating space, a first blade movably connected to the guiding element and the fixed portion, and a driving assembly used for driving the guiding element to move for moving the first blade. The positioning recess corresponds to the guiding element and is used for limiting a movable range of the guiding element.

In a Tele folded camera that includes an optical path folding element (OPFE) and an image sensor, the OPFE is tilted in one or two directions to direct the Tele folded camera towards a POV of a scene, a Tele image or a stream of Tele images is captured from the POV, the Tele image having POV aberrations and the POV aberrations are digitally corrected to obtain an aberration-corrected image or stream of images.

Abstract: Provided is a prism device applied to a periscope lens module. The prism device includes: a bearing frame; a supporting-restoring assembly; a prism; and shape memory alloy wires. The bearing frame includes a horizontal support plate, a vertical support plate, and two side plates. The shape memory alloy wires are connected to the supporting-restoring assembly and the bearing frame from the two side plates, respectively, so as to drive the supporting-restoring assembly to drive the prism to rotate about a first rotation center axis, and are connected to the supporting-restoring assembly and the bearing frame from the horizontal support plate and the vertical support plate, respectively, so as to drive the supporting-restoring assembly to drive the drive the prism to rotate about a second rotation center axis. The present invention replaces the electromagnetic driving with the shape memory alloy wire, thereby reducing a manufacturing cost.

Abstract: An optical unit includes a prism that is formed to have a triangular pole shape and a prism holder to which the prism is fixed by an adhesive. An incident surface on which the light from an outside enters, a reflection surface that reflects light that enters through the incident surface, and an emitting surface through which light reflected on the reflection surface is emitted are formed on the prism. A contact surface to which the reflection surface of the prism contacts, and an adhesive hole in which an adhesive that adheres to the reflection surface of the prism to fix the prism to the prism holder is disposed are formed in the prism holder. The adhesive hole passes through the prism holder.

Abstract: The technology disclosed relates to enhancing the fields of view of one or more cameras of a gesture recognition system for augmenting the three-dimensional (3D) sensory space of the gesture recognition system. The augmented 3D sensory space allows for inclusion of previously uncaptured of regions and points for which gestures can be interpreted i.e. blind spots of the cameras of the gesture recognition system. Some examples of such blind spots include areas underneath the cameras and/or within 20-85 degrees of a tangential axis of the cameras. In particular, the technology disclosed uses a Fresnel prismatic element and/or a triangular prism element to redirect the optical axis of the cameras, giving the cameras fields of view that cover at least 45 to 80 degrees from tangential to the vertical axis of a display screen on which the cameras are mounted.
