摘要： An automatic stop/start controller for a vehicle having an engine, an electric motor to drive the engine, and an automatic transmission. The automatic stop/start controller permits the engine to stop or start without operation of an ignition key. The controller starts fuel supply to the engine after the engine is started by the electric motor and when it is determined that frictional engaging elements of the automatic transmission are engaged, in a case where the engine is started without the operation of the ignition key.
