The heat exchanger has an outer housing. The outer housing defines an interior region and first and second flow guide members. The first and second flow guide members define a serpentine flow path in the interior region. The first and second flow guide members are tilted generally upwardly in the interior region. The serpentine flow path extends from an inlet aperture in the outer housing to another flow path in the outer housing. The another flow path extends from the serpentine flow path to an outlet aperture. The another flow path has a smaller cross-sectional area than a cross-sectional area of each portion of the serpentine flow path such that air bubbles in fluid entering the inlet aperture are urged upwardly through the serpentine flow path and accelerated through the another flow path to exit the outer housing at the outlet aperture.

The voltage sensing member according to the present invention is manufactured by a simple assembly process without using a plurality of members for mechanical coupling and electrical connection. Consequently, the present invention has the effect of reducing the manufacturing costs of the voltage sensing member. Also, the voltage sensing member is maintained in elastic and stable contact when external impact or frequent vibration is applied to the voltage sensing member. The battery module according to the present invention has the effect of reinforcing the low mechanical strength of the battery cells while the weight and size of the battery module is minimized. Also, the battery module according to the present invention is mounted to an inner frame of a vehicle or an additional frame fixed in the vehicle by a simple joint structure without using a plurality of members for a mechanical joint, whereby the manufacturing costs of the battery module are generally decreased. The frame member according to the present invention is effective in that a battery module is fabricated while the battery module has high mechanical strength, and the size and the weight of the battery module are minimized. Furthermore, it is possible to easily mount the detecting means that detects the operation of the battery cells.
