Abstract: Wireless communication systems and methods related to radio link control (RLC) transmissions are provided. A first wireless communication device transmits a sequence of protocol data units (PDUs). The first wireless communication device receives a first reception status report for a first portion of a receiver buffer window used for receiving the sequence of PDUs from a second wireless communication device. The first wireless communication device receives a second reception status report for a second portion of the receiver buffer window, the second portion being different from the first portion, from the second wireless communication device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device, such as a user equipment may identify a size capability for a buffer associated with a protocol layer of the UE. The buffer may be a layer two buffer and the protocol layer may be a layer two protocol layer. The UE may transmit, to a base station serving the UE, an indication of the identified size capability for the buffer. In some cases, the UE may transmit the indication of the identified size capability in a UE capability report in radio resource control signaling. The UE may then communicate, with the base station 105, data that is scheduled based on the transmitted indication.

Abstract: A UE may receive, via a first communication link that uses a first radio access technology (RAT), information that identifies a threshold associated with a second communication link that uses a second RAT. The UE may monitor one or more communications on the second communication link. The UE may determine whether a parameter associated with the second communication link satisfies the threshold based at least in part on monitoring the one or more communications on the second communication link. The UE may provide a message via the first communication link when the parameter associated with the second communication link satisfies the threshold.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configurations that enable uplink transmissions during different transmission time intervals (TTIs) may be used. For example, a base station may configure SPS for a set of TTIs, where the configuration may include a periodicity between shortened TTIs (sTTIs) (e.g., two-symbol, three-symbol, seven-symbol TTIs, etc.) that may be used by a user equipment (UE) for uplink transmissions. The base station may signal the SPS configuration to the UE, and the UE may then identify locations of TTIs for use in SPS transmissions. For instance, the UE may identify the location of a set of sTTIs that are designated for SPS and that occur at a certain periodicity indicated by the configuration. Upon identifying the TTI locations, the UE may transmit uplink data during one or more of the identified TTIs in accordance with the periodicity.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A receiving device may receive, at a first operational layer of the receiving device, one or more protocol data units (PDUs) within a set of PDUs. The receiving device may identify, at a second operational layer of the receiving device, a sequence gap associated with a missing PDU from the set of PDUs, the first operational layer being a lower operational layer of the receiving device than the second operational layer. The receiving device may determine, at the second operational layer, that a triggering condition associated with the missing PDU has occurred. The receiving device may provide, by the second operational layer and based at least in part on the triggering condition occurring, an indication to update a reception buffer of the first operational layer to a last received protocol data unit of the set of PDUs.

In addition, the example method may include obtaining a speed of the UE and suppressing the initiation of the serving cell change based on the speed of the UE.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for per-flow jumbo maximum transmission unit (MTU) in new radio (NR) systems. A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) is provided. The method generally includes determining a default MTU size to be used for communications in a packet data network (PDN). The method includes determining one or more per-flow MTU sizes, different than the default MTU size, to be used for communications in the PDN. The method includes communicating in the PDN according to the determined per-flow MTU sizes.
