    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to an adhesive layer, bearing including the adhesive layer, and methods of forming. The adhesive layer can include a mixture of a first polymer, a second polymer, and a third polymer, wherein the second polymer includes ethylene tetrafluoroethylene, and the third polymer includes a modified ethylene tetrafluoroethylene, ethylene tetrafluoroethylene hexafluoropropylene, or a combination thereof. In a particular embodiment, the first polymer can include an aromatic polymer. In another embodiment, the adhesive layer can have a tensile stress in an extrusion direction of at least 30 MPa.

    Abstract: A dual containment fitting may include a primary tubing, a secondary tubing, and a dual containment body. The secondary tubing may surround and be concentric with a first portion of the primary tubing forming a first leak containment space between the primary tubing and the secondary tubing. The dual containment body may include a flare fitting portion and a primary containment nut portion. The flare fitting portion may surround and be concentric with the primary tubing forming a second leak containment space between the primary tubing and the flare fitting portion. The primary containment nut portion may surround and be concentric with the flared end of the primary tubing forming a third leak containment space between the primary tubing and the primary containment nut portion. The primary containment nut portion may include at least one leak passage hole connecting the third leak containment space with the second leak containment space.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to an adhesive layer, bearing including the adhesive layer, and methods of forming. The adhesive layer can include a mixture of a first polymer, a second polymer, and a third polymer, wherein the third polymer is a modified fluoropolymer of the second polymer. In a particular embodiment, a weight ratio of a weight content of the second polymer to a weight content of the third polymer in the mixture can be at least 12:1.     Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to a layered structure for a radome for use with radiation of a free space frequency. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a layer structure for a radome having a core with an inside surface and an exposed outside surface. The core includes a first core layer having a first relative permittivity of at least 2.3 and a second core layer having a second relative permittivity of at least 2.3. The first core layer is no more than 0.75 mm from the outside surface of the core. An inner structure is disposed on the inside surface of the core and has at least one layer. Each of the first relative permittivity and second relative permittivity is at least 0.4 greater (e.g., at least 0.7 greater, at least 1 greater, or at least 1.3 greater) than a relative permittivity of any layer in the inner structure.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to photocurable compositions and methods for continuously forming a three-dimensional body from these compositions. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to photocurable compositions comprising a mixture of polysiloxanes capable of being dually cured, i.e., first by UV radiation followed by thermal treatment, or being cured by UV radiation. In one aspect, the disclosure provides a photocurable composition, including: a first polysiloxane comprising at least two acrylate or methacrylate groups per molecule; a second polysiloxane containing at least one (e.g., at least two) Si—H group per molecule; a third polysiloxane containing at least one (e.g., at least two) reactive aliphatic ethylene group per molecule; a free radical photoinitiator in an amount of about 0.01 to about 10 weight % based on the total weight of (meth)acrylate-containing polysiloxane in the composition; and a hydrosilylation catalyst in an amount of about 0.001 to about 10 weight % hydride-containing polysiloxane and vinyl-containing polysiloxane in the composition.
