Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit capability information indicating a capability of the UE to support a rate splitting multiple input multiple output (MIMO) communication. The UE may receive, based at least in part on the capability information, configuration information associated with the rate splitting MIMO communication. The UE may identify, based at least in part on the configuration information, at least one of a downlink control information (DCI) format, a DCI size, one or more DCI fields, or one or more DCI field sizes associated with a DCI communication associated with the rate splitting MIMO communication. The UE may monitor the DCI communication and decoding the rate splitting MIMO communication based at least in part on the configuration information and the DCI communication. Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for a user equipment (UE) to determine and apply limits to physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) processing in a dual active protocol stack handover scenario. In one aspect, the UE utilizes a joint blind decode capability for both a source cell group and a target cell group to determine whether a total limit for PDCCH candidates to monitor or non-overlapped control channel elements (CCEs) to monitor is applicable. The UE may identify a per cell limit for each configured single transmit receive point (TRP) cell and each multiple TRP cell based on a sub-carrier spacing SCS of the cell and the determination. The UE may include an interface configured to obtain a PDCCH for a slot. The UE may perform blind decoding operations on CCEs up to the per cell monitoring limit for each cell.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems, apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for reducing latency associated with performing some operations that use a reference signal. To illustrate, a user equipment (UE) may receive a reference signal and then may receive a message indicating one or more of an update of a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state of the UE or a change in designation of a path loss reference signal (PL-RS) measured by the UE. If the reference signal is received within a threshold time period of receiving the message (or vice versa), the UE may perform the update or the change in designation of the PL-RS using one or more parameters determined using the reference signal.

Abstract: Example implementations include a method, apparatus and computer-readable medium of wireless communication. A user equipment (UE) may receive a downlink control information (DCI) indicating two or more transmission configuration indication (TCI) states for a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). The UE may differentiate that the two or more TCI states apply to all demodulation reference signal (DMRS) ports or all transmission layers across all resource blocks and symbols for the PDSCH from TCI states that apply to different sets of DMRS ports or different sets of resource blocks or symbols. The UE may generate a composite quasi-co-location (QCL) based on the two or more TCI states in response to the differentiating. The UE may receive the PDSCH based on the composite QCL.

The UE may maintain phase coherence across multiple PUSCH transmissions, to which the DMRS bundling is applied, to enable joint channel estimation across the multiple PUSCH transmissions. The UE may transmit, based at least in part on the configuration, uplink control information (UCI) that includes a coherence indication. The UE may multiplex the UCI with a PUSCH transmission of the multiple PUSCH transmissions to which the DMRS bundling is applied. The coherence indication may indicate whether the PUSCH transmission is coherent with one or more other PUSCH transmissions, of the multiple PUSCH transmissions, transmitted by the UE. Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support a shared transmission power control (TPC) for uplink data and control channels. In a first aspect, a method includes a user equipment (UE) receiving a TPC command in downlink control messages from a serving base station. Each TPC command includes a power correction indicator. The UE may then apply an accumulation of power correction indicators received in the downlink control messages to an adjustment state associated with a transmit power of an of uplink control channel and an uplink data channel. The UE transmits to an uplink receive point, the uplink control or data channel according to the transmit power adjusted by the accumulation of power correction indicators applied to the adjustment state. Abstract: A phase tracking reference signal (PT-RS) may be transmitted to enable a receiver to correct phase noise in wireless communication. A UE scheduled for one PDSCH with DMRS ports in two or more DMRS CDM groups that are associated with two TCI states may be configured for PT-RS using two PT-RS ports. Therefore, rather than limiting PT-RS to a single port, the PT-RS may be transmitted to the UE using two PT-RS ports. The apparatus transmits a capability indication for more than one PT-RS port for receiving a downlink shared channel based on a first TCI and a second TCI. The apparatus receives a configuration for a maximum number of downlink PT-RS ports from a base station.
