Abstract:
An inclined exposure lithography system is disclosed, which comprises: a substrate; a photoresist layer, formed on the substrate; a mask, disposed over the photoresist layer with a gap therebetween; and a refraction element disposed over the mask so that a light beam from a light source is refracted by a specific angle.
Abstract:
Histone deacetylase is a metallo-enzyme with zinc at the active site. Compounds having a zinc-binding moiety, for example, an alpha-ketoepoxide group, such as an alpha-ketothio group, can inhibit histone deacetylase. Histone deacetylase inhibition can repress gene expression, including expression of genes related to tumor suppression. Accordingly, inhibition of histone deacetylase can provide an alternate route for treating cancer, hematological disorders, e.g., hemoglobinopathies, autosomal dominant disorders, e.g. spinal muscular atrophy and Huntington's disease, genetic related metabolic disorders, e.g., cystic fibrosis and adrenoleukodystrophy, or to stimulate hematopoietic cells ex vivo.
Abstract:
Disclosed are detecting apparatus for detecting statuses of an optical disc and methods thereof, which can avoid or reduce erroneous status decisions at the edge of a blank region. The detecting apparatus includes a blank detector, for detecting a blank region of the optical disc to generate a blank detection signal; an edge detector, for detecting a transition of the blank detection signal to generate an edge detection signal; a control circuit, in response to the edge detection signal for outputting control signals; and a defect detector in response to the control signals for detecting defect region of the optical disc to generate a defect decision signal.
Abstract:
A method for calibrating an initial driving signal for driving an optical pick-up head of an optical disk drive is provided. On one embodiment, said optical disk drive is utilized for reading or writing data on an optical disk, the optical disk comprises a plurality of auto power control areas (APC areas) and a plurality of data areas, and the APC areas and the data areas are interleaved in between. First, in the APC areas, an initial driving signal is used to drive the optical pick-up head to emit laserbeam. A detected level of the laserbeam is then obtained. An update initial driving signal is then calibrated according to the detected level and a target level.
Abstract:

The memory is utilized for storing data. The first processing unit is utilized for executing a first program. The second processing unit is utilized for executing a second program. The first arbiter is coupled to the first processing unit and the second processing unit and utilized for deciding an operation order for the first processing unit and the second processing unit. The second arbiter is coupled to the first processing unit, the second processing unit and the memory and utilized for deciding a memory accessing order for the first processing unit and the second processing unit.
Abstract:
A thin-film solar cell having a hetero-junction of semiconductor and the fabrication method thereof are provided. Instead of the conventional hetero-junction of III-V semiconductor or homo-structure of IV semiconductor, the thin-film solar cell according to the present invention adopts a novel hetero-junction structure of IV semiconductor to improve the cell efficiency thereof. By adjusting the amount of layer sequences and the thickness of the hetero-junction structure, the cell efficiency of the thin-film solar cell according to the present invention is also optimized.

The present invention provides a process for the preparation of the compound of formula (I). The present invention also provides a compound of formula (PA) and a process for preparing the same. The present invention further provides a compound of formula (PI) and a process for preparing the same.
Abstract:
This invention provides a method for fabricating a polysilicon thin film layer, which performs a gas plasma treatment on channel regions defined in the polysilicon thin film layer after the polysilicon thin film layer is formed on a substrate. Threshold voltages for polysilicon thin film transistors formed subsequently are thus adjusted by the gas plasma treatment. A gate insulating layer is formed on the polysilicon thin film layer after the gas plasma treatment.
Abstract:
Mode support systems and methods. The system comprises a storage device and an editing unit. The storage device comprises a first mode list comprising a plurality of display modes. The editing unit edits at least one supported display mode from the display modes in the first mode list, and stores a second mode list comprising the supported display mode to the storage device. The supported display mode in the second mode list is retrieved by a device.
