Abstract: The present invention relates to a wireless communication system and, specifically, to a method comprising the steps of: repeatedly transmitting a PUSCH; and repeatedly receiving the PDSCH in a DL duration immediately following after repeated transmission of the PDSCH, wherein when a terminal operates in an in-band mode, each PDSCH is received from an OFDM symbol subsequent to a k-th OFDM symbol in each corresponding time unit within the DL duration (k>1), and in the case where the terminal operates in a guard-band mode or a stand-alone mode, signal reception is skipped at a starting portion of the DL duration when the PDSCH is repeatedly received.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for performing transmission in a wireless communication system is provided. A narrowband internet-of-things (NB-IoT) user equipment (UE) transmits a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) to a network by using a first resource unit, and transmits an acknowledgement/non-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) to the network by using a second resource unit. The first resource unit for PUSCH transmission consists of a first number of resource elements (REs) within a first tone in frequency domain and a first time interval in time domain. The second resource unit for ACK/NACK transmission also consists of a second number of REs within a second tone in frequency domain and a second time interval in time domain. The second number is smaller than the first number.

More specifically, the method performed by a user equipment (UE) includes: receiving, from a base station, a control message including first information indicating whether selection for a second transport size (TBS) smaller than a first TBS for message 3 is permitted and second information for the first TBS; transmitting, to the base station, a request for the EDT by using message 1; receiving, from the base station, message 2 including a UL grant for the message 3; determining a repetition number for the message 3 based on the control message and the UL grant; and transmitting the message 3 to the base station by the repetition number.
Therefore, there is an effect that battery consumption of the UE can be reduced.-
