Abstract:
A processor-implemented method, system, and/or computer program product retrieves a voice print of a caller to a call network. A processor generates a first voice print, a second voice print, and a third voice print of a caller who makes a call to a call network. The first voice print, the second voice print, and the third voice print are consolidated into a consolidated voice print. In response to a request for a particular voice print, the requested voice print is selectively retrieved from first voice print, the second voice print, and the third voice print in the consolidated voice print, and then sent to the requester.
Abstract:
A method of verifying a user identity using a Web-based multimodal interface can include sending, to a remote client device, a multimodal markup language document that, when rendered by the remote client device, queries a user for a user identifier and causes audio of the user's voice to be sent to a multimodal, Web-based application. The user identifier and the audio can be received at about a same time from the client device. The audio can be compared with a voice print associated with the user identifier. The user at the remote client device can be selectively granted access to the system according to a result obtained from the comparing step.
Abstract:
A method implemented in a computer infrastructure having computer executable code having programming instructions tangibly embodied on a computer readable storage medium. The programming instructions are operable to receive an audio stream of a communication between a plurality of participants. Additionally, the programming instructions are operable to filter the audio stream of the communication into separate audio streams, one for each of the plurality of participants, wherein each of the separate audio streams contains portions of the communication attributable to a respective participant of the plurality of participants. Furthermore, the programming instructions are operable to output the separate audio streams to a storage system.
Abstract:
A voice authentication system using a removable voice ID card comprises: at server side, a voiceprint database for storing the voiceprints of all authorized users; a voiceprint updating means for updating the voiceprints in said voiceprint database; and a voiceprint digest generator for generating a voiceprint digest according to a request from a client; at client side, a voice ID card for storing the voiceprint of an authorized user; a validation means for validating the voiceprint in the voice ID card on the basis of the voiceprint digest from the server; an audio device for performing voice interaction with a user; and a voice authentication means for determining whether the voiceprint from said voice ID card is of the same speaker as the voice from said audio device.
Abstract:
A system, method, and computer readable medium that facilitate user authentication via voice biometrics in a network system featuring interactive voice response system access is provided. The voice biometric authentication mechanisms alleviate identity theft occurring via specific interactive voice response transactions. A voice biometrics authentication system interfaces with an interactive network platform and may be hosted by a third party provider of voice biometric technologies.
Abstract:
A secure telephone call management system is provided for authenticating users of a telephone system in an institutional facility. Authentication of the users of the telephone call management system is accomplished by using a personal identification number, biometric means, and/or radio frequency means. The secure telephone call management system includes accounting software capable of limiting access to the system based on funds in a user's account, and includes management software capable of implementing widespread or local changes to the system. The system monitors a conversation in the telephone call to detect a presence of a first characteristic in audio of the conversation, and terminates the telephone call if the first characteristic does not match a second characteristic of biometric information of a user or a called party.

Abstract:
A method for facilitating access to a conference call is disclosed. The method can comprise allowing a prospective participant to join the conference call after the prospective participant provides a personal ID rather than a conference ID. The method can comprise using at least one of a prospective participant's personal ID or voice for authentication, accessing the prospective participant's electronic calendar, presenting conference call choices from the prospective participant's electronic calendar to the prospective participant, and adding the prospective participant to a selected conference call.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for providing access to teleconference services using voice recognition technology to receive information on packet networks such as Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and Service over Internet Protocol (SoIP) networks are disclosed. In one embodiment, the service provider enables a caller to enter access information for accessing a conference service using at least one natural language response.
Abstract:
Techniques for ability enhancement are described. Some embodiments provide an ability enhancement facilitator system (“AEFS”) configured to enhance voice conferencing among multiple speakers. Some embodiments of the AEFS enhance voice conferencing by recording and presenting voice conference history information based on speaker-related information. The AEFS receives data that represents utterances of multiple speakers who are engaging in a voice conference with one another. The AEFS then determines speaker-related information, such as by identifying a current speaker, locating an information item (e.g., an email message, document) associated with the speaker, or the like. The AEFS records conference history information (e.g., a transcript) based on the determined speaker-related information. The AEFS then informs a user of the conference history information, such as by presenting a transcript of the voice conference and/or related information items on a display of a conferencing device associated with the user.
