    Abstract: To facilitate coexistence of a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are provided. An example method of a first wireless device operating based on a RAT includes receiving a sidelink resource reservation from a second wireless device based on a second RAT, the sidelink resource reservation indicating a first set of resources. The example method further includes determining whether to exclude, from a candidate resource set for the first RAT within a sidelink resource pool for the first RAT, resources that overlap with the set of reserved resources for the second RAT. The example method further includes transmitting a sidelink transmission using one or more sidelink transmission resources selected from the candidate resource set in the sidelink resource pool for the first RAT.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive, at a first transmission reception point, a first transmission from a second UE associated with communications between the second UE and a third UE. The first UE may receive, at a second transmission reception point, a second transmission. The first UE may identify transmissions having overlapping time-frequency resources based on receiving the first transmission and the second transmission. In some examples, the identified transmissions may include the first transmission and the second transmission. Additionally or alternatively, the identified transmissions may include a third transmission and a fourth transmission. The first UE may transmit an interference mitigation signal to the second UE. The interference mitigation signal may include an indication to orthogonalize one or more reference signals, a negative acknowledgment indication, or both.

    Abstract: Techniques for wireless communications are described. A communication device, such as a user equipment (UE) may determine a resource usage level in a wireless communications system.     Abstract: Aspects relate to techniques for MCS selection of a packet to be network coded for sidelink communication. A transmitting UE may encode a packet using an MCS that is greater than a normal MCS that may be used for encoding the packet without network coding. The transmitting UE may then transmit the encoded packet to one or more receiving UEs and a network coding device over a sidelink data channel. The transmitting UE may further transmit a network coding request flag associated with the packet to initiate one or more retransmissions of the packet by the network coding device.
