Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for wireless communication by a radar device. The radar device determines a resource pool configuration indicating a radar band partitioned into a plurality of non-overlapping subbands. At least two of the plurality of non-overlapping subbands use resource elements (REs) that differ in at least one of a frequency size or a time duration. The radar device transmits a radar waveform using at least one RE within a subband of the plurality of non-overlapping subbands.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. To support cross-carrier sidelink resource reservation, a user equipment (UE) may transmit sidelink control signaling in a carrier in a licensed frequency spectrum band (e.g., a licensed carrier) that reserves one or more sidelink resources of a carrier in an unlicensed frequency spectrum band (e.g., an unlicensed carrier) for transmission of sidelink data. For example, the UE may determine the one or more sidelink resources for transmission of the sidelink data in the unlicensed carrier and may transmit the sidelink control signaling in the licensed carrier to reserve the one or more sidelink resources. The UE may then transmit the sidelink data in the one or more sidelink resources of the unlicensed carrier. In some examples, the UE may perform a channel access procedure before transmitting the sidelink data and may transmit the sidelink data based on the channel access procedure.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for shared radio frequency spectrum band access information. A sensing device may monitor one or more frequencies of the shared radio frequency spectrum band and may receive signaling indicating access information (e.g., automated frequency control information). The access information may indicate one or more frequencies of the shared radio frequency spectrum band that are accessible for the sensing device. The scheduling device may obtain the access information from an access point, local storage media, or the like. In some examples, the scheduling device may transmit signaling indicating the accessible frequencies based on a request message from the sensing device. The sensing device may receive the access information and may communicate on one or more of the indicated frequencies accordingly.

Abstract: Aspects for reducing interference for transmissions in unlicensed frequency bands are disclosed. Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for sidelink communications in an unlicensed spectrum. A method that may be performed by a device includes sensing a channel for interference in each of a plurality of time intervals in order of time until interference below a threshold is sensed for one of the plurality of time intervals or interference above the threshold is sensed for all of the plurality of time intervals, the plurality of time intervals being of a time window. The method may also include sensing interference to be above a threshold in a first portion of the one of the plurality of time intervals. The method may also include sensing interference to be below the threshold in a second portion of the one of the plurality of time intervals that occurs later in time than the first portion.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Aspects of the disclosure provide techniques for wireless devices utilizing wireless communications systems to perform radar operations to leverage challenges within radar signaling to detect one or more adverse parties attempting to spoof one or more radar signals. For example, a base station may transmit, to one or more vehicles, a message including an indication of a challenge type, when the challenge is to be applied, or both. Based on the challenge, one or more vehicles may detect that a device associated with the adverse party is not following the challenge as dictated in the message. Based on the detection, the one or more vehicles may report, to the base station, the detection of an adverse party attempting to spoof radars within the wireless communications system.
