Abstract:
Disclosed are method and device for indicating a PLCP header transmission mode. A method for generating a physical layer convergence protocol (PLCP) of a data frame can comprise the following steps: demodulating PLCP header mode information based on a scrambling sequence of the received frame or information elements included in the received frame; and generating a data frame including the PLCP header generated based on the PCLP header mode information. The PLCP header mode information comprises at least one indication from a space time block coding mode indication, a guard interval mode indication, and a repetition mode indication. The invention is capable of improving data transmission efficiency by adaptively determining a transmission mode of a PCLP header to a channel situation.

Abstract:
A method for transmitting data in a wireless local area network, and a device therefore are discussed. The method according to one embodiment includes generating, by a transmitter, a very high throughput (VHT)-SIG-A field; generating, by the transmitter, a VHT-SIG-B field by applying a single column vector; and transmitting, by the transmitter, a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) to a receiver, the PPDU including the VHT-SIG-A field and the VHT-SIG-B field. The single column vector is obtained from a number of spatial streams for the receiver.
Abstract:
A frame transmission method, for receiving data in a wireless local area network. A destination station establishes a direct link with a source station. The destination station receives a first physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) from the source station via the direct link. The destination station receives a second PPDU from a relay station via a relay link. In addition, the second PPDU is received by the relay station from the source station and is forwarded by the relay station to the destination station. Furthermore, the first PPDU includes a sequence field indicating that the second PPDU is to be transmitted via the relay link.
Abstract:
A method of transmitting a data frame by a transmitter in a WLAN system is provided. The method includes generating a data block including at least one data units respectively transmitted through at least one or more spatial streams to at least one receiver, transmitting first control information to the at least one receiver, transmitting second control information to each receiver, and transmitting the data block to the at least one receiver. The first control information includes a length indicator for the data block, a MIMO indicator indicating whether the data block is for SU-MIMO or MU-MIMO, and a spatial stream indication field including information about the number of the spatial streams. The second control information includes a FEC coding field indicating an encoding scheme applied to the data unit and an MCS field indicating an MCS applied to the data unit.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for transmitting channel parameter information. A method for transmitting a frame in consideration of a channel environment includes the steps of: receiving long training field (LTF) setting information from a station; creating a frame including an LTF, a plurality of divided data fields, and an additional LTF on the basis of the LTF setting information; and transmitting the frame, wherein the LTF positions are ahead of the plurality of divided data fields, the additional LTF positions are between or behind the plurality of divided data fields, and the LTF setting information can be created on the basis of the movement of the station. Therefore, channel estimation performance can be increased.
