Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, a base station may indicate, to a user equipment (UE), when it changes a power amplifier (PA) non-linearity model. The base station may transmit a set of parameters for the PA model, and a set of parameters for a non-linear equalizer function for the UE to use during a digital post-processing procedure (DPoD). The base station may indicate, to the UE, a lookup table, a vector of lookup tales, a set of kernels (e.g., from which the UE may estimate the coefficients of the PA model), or a set of both the kernels and the coefficients for the PA model. Similarly, for the non-linear equalizer function, the base station may indicate an explicit indication of the function, or may indicate a lookup table, or a kernels series (e.g., with or without corresponding coefficients).

Abstract: Various embodiments may provide systems and methods for supporting lossy compression of feedback information, such as acknowledgment (ACK) information, negative acknowledgement (NACK) information, etc. Various embodiments may support lossy compression for feedback messages in retransmission systems, such as Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARD) protocols, the Multiple Incremental Redundancy Scheme (MIRS), etc. Various embodiments may support compression of feedback bits using a different compression codebook per symbol or per group of symbols. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for flexible selection of a type of mapping to use for mapping code blocks to a set of resources for transmission. A user equipment (UE) may transmit assistance information to a base station to assist the base station in selecting from a set of mapping types available for code block mapping. The UE may then receive, from the base station, an indication of a selected mapping type for code block mapping based on the assistance information. The assistance information may include a recommendation of a mapping type or a metric of a channel that the base station may use to select the mapping type. Because the mapping type may be selected dynamically (e.g., “on the fly”), the UE and the base station may be able to adaptively exploit different types of diversity.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Polar coding involves assigning bits to different bit-channels, and encoding the bits such that certain bit-channels (e.g., polar channels) are polarized to increased reliability, while other bit-channels are polarized to decreased reliability. To ensure that polar codes for extended reality (XR) and video applications have increased reliability for the aspects of an XR stream or video code that are most important, the information bits of a stream may be sorted based on priority or importance. Then the sorted information bits may be mapped to the most reliable bit-channels of a polar encoder. Any errors in the transmission may therefore be most likely to occur in the less important bits. Accordingly, in the case of XR, the information bits that are most important to user experience/perception are the most likely to be successfully received and decoded at the receiver.

A network entity may transmit via a first time slot, a first set of demodulation reference signals (DMRSs) and a second set of DMRSs that may be associated with a set of user equipments (UEs). The network entity may receive from the set of UEs, respective feedback messages indicating respective channel estimation information based on the first set of DMRSs and the second set of DMRSs. The network entity may generate a multi-user multi-input and multi-output (MU-MIMO) channel prediction for a second slot subsequent the first slot, based on the respective feedback messages and generate a MU-MIMO channel precoder associated with the set of UEs based on the MU-MIMO channel prediction. The network entity may transmit, during the second slot, one or more messages to the UEs based on the MU-MIMO channel prediction and the MU-MIMO channel precoder.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for digital pre-distortion (DPD). An apparatus for wireless communication generally includes a power amplifier (PA); a first DPD circuit, a second DPD circuit, and a transmitter. The first DPD circuit is generally configured to: obtain an input signal; apply a first DPD to the input signal to generate a first resulting signal; and output the first resulting signal to the second DPD circuit. The second DPD circuit is generally configured to: obtain the first resulting signal from the first DPD circuit; apply a second DPD to the first resulting signal to generate a second resulting signal; and output the second resulting signal to the PA. The PA is generally configured to amplify the second resulting signal to generate an amplified second resulting signal. Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for mapping coding indices associated with a rateless coding scheme to respective sets of communication resources over which a transmitting device may perform transmissions of portions of a message corresponding to each of the coding indices. In some aspects, for example, different coding indices may correspond to different cumulative portions of the message and the transmitting device may transmit a first cumulative portion of the message corresponding to a first coding index over a first set of communication resources to which the first coding index is mapped. The transmitting device may signal an indication of such a resource mapping scheme to a receiving device and the receiving device may attempt to decode transmissions of one or more cumulative portions of the message using the indicated resource mapping scheme.
