摘要: A pump motor includes a stator, a rotor and a housing accommodating the stator and the rotor. The stator has a plurality of teeth, each of the teeth being provided with a cap portion at its tip end. The rotor is arranged inside the stator in an opposing relationship with the cap portion of each of the teeth. The housing includes a fluid path defined therein. The fluid path includes a substantially annular gap axially extending between the stator and the rotor. The cap portion includes a first opposing surface and a second opposing surface provided in an opposing relationship with the rotor to define a portion of the fluid path, the distance between the first opposing surface and an outer circumferential surface of the rotor being greater than the distance between the second opposing surface and the outer circumferential surface of the rotor.

摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED:To provide an exhaust purifying catalyst capable of efficiently purifying CO over a wide range of temperatures including a low temperature.MEANS TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM:An exhaust purifying apparatus of an internal combustion engine, comprising a CO oxidation catalyst disposed in the exhaust flow passage of an internal combustion engine and capable of oxidizing and thereby purifying CO in the exhaust, an HC adsorbent material for adsorbing HC in the exhaust, and an NOx adsorbent material for adsorbing NOx in the exhaust, these adsorbent materials being located on the upstream side in the exhaust flow direction with respect to the CO oxidation catalyst and disposed in order from the upstream, wherein the CO oxidation catalyst contains Pd and CeO2 and the amount of Pd supported is from 0.01 to 50 mass % based on CeO2.

摘要: A continuously variable transmission includes a variator capable of varying a speed ratio continuously, and a subtransmission mechanism provided in series with the variator. On the basis of an operating condition of a vehicle, a transmission controller sets a destination through speed ratio, which is an overall speed ratio of the variator and the subtransmission mechanism to be realized in accordance with the operating condition, and controls the variator and the subtransmission mechanism on the basis thereof. When shifts are prohibited in the subtransmission mechanism, the destination through speed ratio is limited to a speed ratio range that can be realized only by a shift in the variator.

In such a case, based on attributes (for example, a holder or intended use) of the first and second cellular phones, a notice manner of information on incoming call or information on telephone call is differentiated, for instance, in regard to a background color of a display window.

摘要: An in-vehicle handsfree apparatus establishes a handsfree profile connection with each of a first cellular phone and a second cellular phone at the same time. When the first cellular phone is under telephone call, the second cellular phone receives an incoming call. The in-vehicle handsfree apparatus receives from the second cellular phone a ring tone, which is previously registered in the second cellular phone. Herein, the in-vehicle handsfree apparatus does not output the ring tone registered in the second cellular phone. Instead, the in-vehicle handsfree apparatus generates a ring tone to thereby output it in addition to a reception sound received from the first cellular phone under the telephone call.

摘要: An image scanning device includes a base part; and multiple image sensors each including a substrate, a line sensor including scanning elements arranged on the substrate, and a holder for holding the substrate. The base part holds the image sensors such that the scanning elements of an image sensor partly overlap the scanning elements of an adjacent image sensor in the main-scanning direction. The coefficients of linear expansion of the substrate and the base part are substantially the same; the holder and the base part are fixed together at a first fixing point; the holder and the substrate are fixed together at a second fixing point; and the distance in the main-scanning direction between the first fixing point and the second fixing point and the direction of the second fixing point with respect to the first fixing point are the same for all the image sensors.

摘要: In a power-on detection circuit, a first connection node at which a first divided voltage is generated is connected to a second power supply line during activation of a power-down detection signal. Inactivation timing of the power-down detection signal is set earlier than an activation timing of a power-on detection signal. Therefore, the first transistor whose gate is connected to the first connection node is certainly turned off in the first half of a power-on period, which prevents the power-on detection signal from being activated during the power-on period. Further, a leak current flowing through the first transistor is reduced. In the second half of the power-on period, the power-on detection signal is certainly generated using the first divided voltage generated by the first dividing circuit. Thus, operating a reset circuit without malfunction and normally outputting a reset signal is possible disregarding behavior of a power supply voltage at power-on.
