    Abstract: This disclosure relates to a system for stabilizing a permanent magnet synchronous motor that does not have a rotor starting cage or windings. The system includes a dc source, an inverter connected to the dc source for converting the dc to a multi-phase ac, and an ac synchronous motor connected to receive the multi-phase ac, the motor being constructed without a starting cage or winding. The system further includes means for sensing variations in the motor power angle, and a control circuit connected to respond to the variations and to cause the inverter output to vary such as to generate an ac component of torque that leads in phase the power angle variations at the natural frequency of the rotor of the motor. The inverter output may be varied by modulating the applied frequency, the dc bus current to the inverter, or the inverter phase angle.

    Abstract: A motor driver includes an inverter, a multiphase pre-driver circuit, a controller and motor relays. The inverter includes pairs of an upper-arm switching element and a lower-arm switching element being connected in series between a ground line and a power supply line, and supplies power to a multiphase motor by converting direct current power of a battery. The multiphase pre-driver circuit drives the upper-arm and lower-arm switching elements. The controller commands the multiphase pre-driver circuit to drive the switching elements, and controls electrical conduction from the inverter to the multiphase motor.     Abstract: A power converter of a load drive device is provided between a power supply line and a ground line connected to the battery, and converts a direct-current power of the battery and supplies it to a load. A booster circuit boosts a voltage of the battery supplied via the power supply line. A post-boost capacitor is charged with a boosted voltage by the booster circuit. A specific regulator operates a target circuit when a voltage equal to or higher than a lower limit value is applied via a power supply path.     Abstract: An electronically commutated fan system includes an alternating-current-to-direct-current conversion unit, an inverter unit and a control unit. The alternating-current-to-direct-current conversion unit converts an alternating-current input power source into a first direct-current power source. The inverter unit is electrically connected between the alternating-current-to-direct-current conversion unit and a fan. The inverter unit converts the first direct-current power source into an alternating-current output power source and provides the alternating-current output power source to the fan to rotate. The control unit is electrically connected to the alternating-current-to-direct-current conversion unit and the inverter unit. The control unit controls the alternating-current-to-direct-current conversion unit and the inverter unit to adjust a rotational speed of the fan. When the control unit detects a power variation of the alternating-current input power source, the control unit controls the rotational speed of the fan to be maintained within a first error range.
