    摘要: An apparatus for suspension of a tube wall, particularly a combustion chamber wall, made for example of helical finned tubes which are welded gas-tight with one another extending horizontally or inclined, on an upper part of a steam generator made of vertical tubes, by means of vertically extending tie rods which are connected with the tube wall over welding bridges. Respectively pairs of tie rods which extend spaced by a small distance from one another are secured on the upper part of the steam generator by means of a common connection piece and are welded on their adjacent longitudinal edges over common welding bridges with the tube wall. The welding bridges are spaced from one another in the longitudinal direction of the tie rods.

    摘要: A coal-fired steam generator has tubes forming heating surfaces that are suspended above a combustion chamber from support tubes that extend in a given direction and are mutually spaced apart, transversely to the axes of the tubes forming the heating surfaces, a distance that is less than the mutual spacing of the support tubes in the direction of the axes of the tubes forming the heating surfaces. The support tubes located below the lowermost of the tubes forming the heating surfaces suspended therefrom are formed with an initial bend in a plane wherein the support tubes are mutually spaced apart by the lesser distance, and are provided with further bends forming auxiliary heating surfaces extending substantially perpendicularly to the given direction in which the support tubes extend.

    摘要: An improved support is disclosed for furnace shield tubes, which are located between the radiant and convection sections of industrial furnaces, and which, since they are exposed to radiant heat, are subject to significant weakening. In the preferred embodiment, a hollow pipe serves as a beam support for the shield tubes, the support being extensively insulated to minimize radiant heat input and being cooled by air passing inside it as induced by natural draft available from the furnace. Air from outside the furnace is drawn into the hollow support, cools it and passes out into the furnace stack above the convection section. The support beam is cooled by air while the supports on which the shield tubes rest are cooled by conduction, either into the air cooled support or into the shield tubes. Contact of the supports with radiant energy is avoided.

    摘要: In a block-covered furnace wall the face of an individual block turned towards a tube is formed with a radius, which is slightly smaller than one half of the external diameter of the tube. When first applied to a tube the block will thus not make full contact with the tube, but the blocks are, in pairs, forced towards the tubes by wedge shaped members and screw threaded means. To facilitate the necessary deformation each block is provided with a slim waist portion, against which the wedge member bears.
