The invention uses steam/super-heated water under high pressure to blow out and suppress the fire. The wet pressurized steam/super-heated water “blows out” the fire and the pressure removes (displaces) the oxygen and spark needed for the fire to continue burning. The wet steam/super-heated water works much like water to suppress and put out the fire but the additional benefits of the pressure help to reduce the fuel (air and spark) for the fire as well.

摘要: A method of supporting the spiral boiler tubing that surrounds a portion of the furnace or combustion area of a steam generator. This method of support eliminates the need to weld plate to the outside of the boiler tubing thereby increasing the mass of the boiler tubing which will result in the creation of temperature differentials within the spiral tubing. In accordance with this invention, a plurality of support members are inserted within and alongside the regular spiral tubing forming a part of the furnace enclosure. These support members are periodically removed from within the plane of this furnace enclosure and re-positioned to another (usually more elevated) position within the furnace enclosure. As the support members near the top of the spiral tubing (which is also the transition from the spiral tubing to more vertically aligned tubing), these support members are secured to this vertical tubing thereby transferring the loading of the spiral tubing to the vertical tubing. In other embodiments, it may be desirable to transfer the loading to other support members such as boiler top support steel.

摘要: A steam generator includes a heat exchanger, a liquid header and a steam header. The heat exchanger is assembled by several heat exchanging subassemblies with the same structure. The heat exchanging subassembly includes a spiral heat transmission pipe bundle, a central cylinder and a sleeve. The spiral heat transmission pipes with different radii are concentrically and spirally arranged in an annular space between the central cylinder and the sleeve, to form one or more concentric heat exchanging pillar surfaces. One end of the liquid header is connected with a main water feeding pipe, and the other end of the liquid header is connected with the spiral heat transmission pipe bundle. One end of the steam header is connected with a main steam pipe, and the other end of the steam header is connected with the spiral heat transmission pipe bundle.

摘要: The combustion chamber wall consists of tubes which are inclined to the horizontal and which are welded to one another in a gas-tight relationship via webs. Pairs of vertical tension strips bear against the outside of the combustion chamber wall. Each pair is connected to the wall tubes via a plurality of sheet-metal strips distributed over the height of the combustion chamber wall. The sheet-metal strips are disposed perpendicularly to the combustion chamber wall plane and are cut out in the form of a comb at the edge connected to the wall tubes.
