Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for signaling and scheduling to enable network configured small gaps in intra-band inter-frequency measurement. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a serving cell operating on a first frequency, an indication that synchronization signal block (SSB) indexes of a target cell operating on a second frequency can be derived from timing of the serving cell; and deriving an SSB index of the target cell, based on the timing of the serving cell.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, an indication that a cell associated with the base station does not support reduced capability UEs, wherein the UE is capable of operating in a first mode that is associated with reduced capability UEs and a second mode that is not associated with reduced capability UEs. The UE may communicate, in the second mode, with the base station to establish a connection with the cell based at least in part on at least one of: the UE supporting one or more capabilities associated with connecting with the cell, or no cells that support reduced capability UEs being available. Abstract: A configuration is disclosed to enable a UE to preempt SRVCC by triggering a handover to a Wi-Fi network. The apparatus determines whether a Wi-Fi cell is viable as a first target cell, from a plurality of target cells, serving the UE to continue the active transmission on the Wi-Fi cell. The apparatus extends a TTT timer length based at least in part on the determination that the Wi-Fi cell is viable as the target cell serving the UE to continue the active transmission on the Wi-Fi cell. The apparatus initiates a handover to the Wi-Fi cell from the first network prior to the expiration of a TTT timer and prior to the first network initiating a handover to a second target cell, from the plurality of target cells, on a second network.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a user equipment (UE) dynamically adjusting a non-access stratum (NAS) timer. Specifically, the UE may determine operation in a wideband and support of an extended coverage (EC) restriction. The UE may further identify a duration of a non-access stratum (NAS) timer based on determining operation in the wideband and the EC restriction. The UE may further transmit an access request message to a network entity to trigger a mobility management procedure. The UE may further receive an acceptance message from the network entity indicating an unrestricted or restricted status of the EC restriction. The UE may further apply the duration to the NAS timer based on the acceptance message indicating the unrestricted or restricted status of the EC restriction received from the network entity or a history of EC restrictions of a public land mobile network (PLMN) in a defined geographic area.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for user equipment (UE)-side and network-side mitigation of intermodulation (IM) interference, such as IM interference associated with multi-radio access technology communications. For example, the UE or a base station may detect an IM interference condition, and may perform an IM mitigation action based on detecting the IM interference condition. The UE may reduce an uplink transmit power so that IM interference on the downlink is reduced. Various base station IM mitigation actions are provided, such as suspending scheduling on a bearer, using a scheduling pattern that avoids concurrent transmission, reducing a maximum transmit power of an uplink grant of the UE, allocating resource blocks or bandwidth parts that do not overlap with an IM interference resource, changing a secondary cell group channel to a non-interfering channel, releasing a secondary cell group channel, deactivating a carrier, or changing a channel of the UE.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a UE and a network device for wireless communication. The UE sends an indication to a network device indicating a capability of receiving a PWS signal and/or a delay requirement for receiving the PWS signal. The UE receives, from the network device, a configured DRX cycle value associated with the indication and a paging signal corresponding to the PWS signal associated with the configured DRX cycle value. The network device determines whether the UE is capable of receiving the PWS signal and whether the UE desires to receive the PWS signal within a duration. The network device configures a DRX cycle value based on the determination and sends, to the UE, the configured DRX cycle value and a paging signal corresponding to the PWS signal based on the configured DRX cycle value. The selected state may correspond to one or more modes of operation (e.g., a doze mode, a relaxed doze mode, an active WiFi communication mode, a low battery mode). The UE may disable communication via a second RAT in response to determining that the UE is in the selected state. The UE may continue to communicate via the first RAT.
