摘要: A method of printing a 3D part with an additive manufacturing system includes printing a first portion of the part and pre-heating the first portion of the part along an upcoming tool path to a temperature at or above a material-specific bonding temperature and below a degradation temperature of the material. Material is extruding material onto the first portion along the pre-heated tool path while the temperature along the part surface remains at or above a material-specific bonding temperature and below the degradation temperature of the material thereby forming a newly extruded road. The method includes cooling the newly extruded road along the pre-heated tool path to remove heat imparted by the preheating step such that a thermally stable temperature is reached, wherein the preheating, extruding and cooling is performed in less than ten seconds.

摘要: An additive manufacturing system includes an additive manufacturing unit that includes a housing for additively processing a powder material along a build direction into a build assembly. The additive manufacturing system further includes a rotator assembly for rotating the build assembly within the housing. The rotator assembly includes a frame including a first frame arm and a second frame arm and a carriage rotatably coupled to the first frame arm and to the second frame arm. The carriage includes at least one coupling mechanism for removably coupling the carriage to the build assembly. The rotator assembly further includes a drive assembly coupled to the carriage for selectively rotating the carriage about a rotational axis that is generally perpendicular to the build direction.

摘要: A three-dimensional shaping device includes: a plasticizing unit configured to plasticize a material to generate a plasticized material; a stage having a deposition surface on which the plasticized material is deposited; an ejection unit that has a plurality of nozzles arranged side by side along a first axis parallel to the deposition surface of the stage, and that is configured to eject the plasticized material in a continuous linear form from the plurality of nozzles toward the deposition surface; an ejection switching unit configured to individually switch between stopping and resuming ejection of the plasticized material from the plurality of nozzles; a moving unit configured to move the ejection unit with respect to the stage along a second axis that is parallel to the deposition surface of the stage and that intersects the first axis; and a control unit configured to laminate a shaping layer formed of the plasticized material on the deposited surface of the stage by controlling the plasticizing unit, the ejection switching unit, and the moving unit.

摘要: A three-dimensional (3D) bioprinting method and system are disclosed. The method includes disposing/immersing a printing platform or surface into a first bioink, such as a bioink resin, curing one or more layer of the first bioink resin onto the printing platform or surface, and removing the printing platform or surface from the first bioink resin. The process is repeated with a second bioink resin such that the second bioink resin is cured on top of the one or more layer of first bioink resin, and can be further repeated with a third or even fourth bioink resin. By varying constituents of one or more or each bioink resin (such as living cell type or polymer), complex, multilayered tissues can be engineered. A system capable of performing the method is also disclosed.

摘要: The invention relates to an additive manufacturing method in which a component (10, 42, 43, 44, 45) is produced in layers using an energy beam (8, 41, 58) which solidifies a starting material (4) and is irradiated by energy beam irradiating means (9, 22, 31, 38, 39, 55, 59, 61) while the starting material (4) is held by a base surface (3, 15, 30, 36, 52) arranged on a base element (2, 16, 29, 35, 51). While the starting material (4) is being irradiated with the energy beam (8, 41, 58), the base element (2, 16, 29, 35, 51) is moved by a rotational component which has a base element rotational axis, wherein the starting material (4) is held on the base surface (3, 15, 30, 36, 52) by a centrifugal acceleration generated by the rotational component. The invention is characterized in that a rotational movement is produced for at least some of the energy beam irradiating means (9, 22, 31, 38, 39, 55, 59, 61). Analogously, at least one energy beam rotational axis (46) is proposed for rotating at least some of the energy beam irradiating means (9, 22, 31, 38, 39, 55, 59, 61) in an additive manufacturing device in which the starting material (4) is held on a base surface (3, 15, 30, 36, 52) by a centrifugal acceleration.

The preferred angular orientation is selected to align an edge of one or more pixels with an edge of the layer of the workpiece being built. The method further includes orienting a patterned image of radiant energy to the preferred angular orientation by rotating a projector before solidifying a portion of a resin that forms the first layer of the workpiece.
