    摘要: A cutting apparatus includes a blade changing apparatus. The blade changing apparatus includes a blade mounting and removal portion, which in turn includes: a holding portion that removably holds a circular base of a cutting blade; a moving support portion that supports the holding portion and moves the holding portion to a removal and mounting position at which an insertion hole in the blade faces a boss of a blade mount; and a coupling mechanism that couples the holding portion with the moving support portion such that the holding portion is freely tiltable with respect to the moving support portion. The coupling mechanism includes a plurality of elastic member pairs, each pair, while tensioning the holding portion in opposite directions, fixing the holding portion to the moving support portion. Forces acting from the elastic member pairs balance each other to thereby support the holding portion tiltably and aerially.

    摘要: The cutting machine for cutting logs of web material, includes a cutting head arranged along the feeding path of the logs. The cutting head includes a coupling for a disc-shaped cutting blade and is designed to impart the disc-shaped cutting blade a rotary motion around the axis thereof and a cyclic movement to cut the logs into single rolls, and to allow the logs to move forward along the feeding path. The machine also includes a store unit for disc-shaped cutting blades associated with the cutting head. A handling member is provided to remove a worn disc-shaped cutting blade from the cutting head and replace the worn disc-shaped cutting blade with a new disc-shaped cutting blade taken from the store unit.

    摘要: A slitting mechanism for a card cutting machine including a pair of rotating shafts having conveying rollers and cutting disks with cutting edges secured thereto. The slitting mechanism also includes a plate positioned in the space between adjacent cutting disks on one of the rotating shafts. The plate includes a sharp tip for contacting and dropping down chips caught in the space between adjacent cutting edges. Moreover, a sliding clutch is utilized to prevent rubbing and damaging of a sheet when the conveyance of the sheet is temporarily stopped. The sliding clutch is fitted on the drive shaft of the pair of rotating shafts for transferring power from a power source to the drive shaft. The clutch slides when a load is applied to the rotating shafts to stop the transfer of power to the rotating shafts and to prevent the conveying rollers from rubbing and damaging the sheets.

    摘要: A method for perforating a sheet material provides for a perforating die located intermediate two orbital rollers. The two orbital rollers move in orbital paths in the same orbital direction at the same speed and in positions which are 180 degrees apart. Each roller acts as a temporary storage input and output in opposite phase from each other so that incoming sheet material is alternately stored and dispensed as a loop on the orbital roller. Since the rollers are out of phase, this permits a segment of the sheet material to be stopped intermediate the orbital rollers so that the perforating die can act on the stopped segment.
