Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for rate-splitting multiple access (RSMA) for sidelink communication. An example method include determining a set of resources, in a resource pool of one or more resource pools, to use for transmitting information to a group of receiver UEs (RX UEs), transmitting to the group of RX UEs an indication that the TX UE will transmit the information to the group of RX UEs using rate splitting multiple access (RSMA), and transmitting the information to the group of RX UEs in the set of resources using RSMA. Transmitting the information to the group using RSMA may include transmitting a common message including combined control information to the group of RX UEs using a first precoder and transmitting individual private data messages to each RX UE in the group of RX UEs using separate respective precoders different from the first precoder.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may receive downlink control information (DCI) from a network entity, wherein the DCI indicates multiple sidelink resources including a first sidelink resource and a second sidelink resource, wherein the first sidelink resource is for transmission of a sidelink communication to a second UE and wherein the second sidelink resource is for retransmission of the sidelink communication after a negative acknowledgment (NACK) of the sidelink communication on the first sidelink resource. The UE may transmit the sidelink communication to the second UE on at least one of the multiple sidelink resources. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive segmentation information that indicates a plurality of slot segments within an uplink slot and that indicates a skipping order for the plurality of slot segments. The UE may initiate a partial uplink transmission. The UE may perform resource skipping in one or more slot segments of the plurality of slot segments based at least in part on the segmentation information. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a mapping indication that indicates a mapping between a plurality of network energy saving modes and a plurality of priority rules for sidelink synchronization. The UE may receive a network energy saving mode indication that indicates scheduling for one or more network energy saving modes of the plurality of network energy saving modes. The UE may perform sidelink synchronization in accordance with a priority rule of the plurality of priority rules for sidelink synchronization based at least in part on the scheduling for the one or more network energy saving modes and the mapping between the plurality of network energy saving modes and the plurality of priority rules for sidelink synchronization. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may obtain slot information that indicates whether a slot is a half-duplex slot or a full-duplex slot and that indicates a frequency structure of the full-duplex slot. The UE may receive segmentation information that indicates a plurality of slot segments within the slot and that indicates a skipping order for the plurality of slot segments. The UE may initiate a partial uplink transmission. The UE may perform resource skipping in one or more slot segments of the plurality of slot segments based at least in part on the slot information and the segmentation information. Numerous other aspects are described.
