The apparatus may also select a first scheduling offset of the at least one scheduling offset associated with the propagation delay between the base station and the UE. Additionally, the apparatus may transmit, to the base station, an uplink transmission based on the first scheduling offset, the uplink transmission being associated with a PUSCH, a PUCCH, or a PRACH.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a source base station, configuration information for a handover, wherein the configuration information indicates, for a target non-terrestrial cell, timing and synchronization parameters including a scheduling timing offset, a round trip time between a reference point and a target base station associated with the target non-terrestrial cell, satellite ephemeris information, an ephemeris validity duration associated with the satellite ephemeris information, common timing advance parameters, and a common timing advance validity duration associated with the common timing advance parameters. The UE may perform the handover with the target base station associated with the target non-terrestrial cell based at least in part on the timing and synchronization parameters for the target non-terrestrial cell. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a codebook type for transmitting hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback by the UE to a second device (e.g., a network device, a satellite, or a base station). The indication of the codebook type may indicate a HARQ feedback transmission configuration, such as a static HARQ feedback transmission configuration. The HARQ transmission configuration may be associated with a one bit or two bit HARQ codebook. The UE may receive a scheduled downlink shared channel transmission, and attempt to decode the received downlink shared channel transmission. The UE may transmit (or refrain from transmitting) the HARQ feedback based on the decoding of the scheduled downlink shared channel transmission and in accordance with the feedback mode.

A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes determining a number (M) of candidate downlink transmission occasions for a time period, determining a maximum number (k) of simultaneous downlink transmissions the UE can receive during the time period, receiving one or more downlink transmissions during the time period from a base station, and determining a type of encoding for the HARQ feedback based on: (i) a number of the one or more downlink transmissions received, (ii) the number (M) of candidate downlink transmission occasions for the time period, and/or (iii) the maximum number (k) of simultaneous downlink transmissions.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A UE operating in an NTN may receive an indication of coverage information for a first cell associated with the NTN. The coverage information may indicate a coverage area supported by the first cell for wireless communications. The UE may transmit, based on location information of the UE and the coverage information, a message indicating a timing information associated with a measurement-based handover for the UE from the first cell to a second cell associated with the non-terrestrial network. For example, the message may include a recommendation for the UE to perform a non-measurement-based handover or an indication that the UE cannot complete the measurement-based handover before leaving the coverage area of the first cell.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network may be configured to provide a beam measurement configuration to a UE that indicates durations for monitoring transmission beams, and tuning a component of the UE between the monitoring. The durations may include a first portion that a UE may use for a tuning operation and a second portion that the UE may use to monitor for or measure a respective reference signal. In various examples, the indicated durations may include a third portion that the UE may use for another tuning operation, or the durations may overlap with one another during an overlap duration that the UE may use for another tuning operation. During the indicated durations, the network may refrain from transmitting other downlink data or control information for the UE, and the UE may refrain from monitoring for such other downlink data or control information.
