摘要: The invention provides an autonomous vehicle with a video camera that merges images taken a different light levels by replacing saturated parts of an image with corresponding parts of a lower-light image to stream a video with a dynamic range that extends to include very low-light and very intensely lit parts of a scene. The high dynamic range (HDR) camera streams the HDR video to a HDR system in real time—as the vehicle operates. As pixel values are provided by the camera's image sensors, those values are streamed directly through a pipeline processing operation and on to the HDR system without any requirement to wait and collect entire images, or frames, before using the video information.

摘要: A multi-camera vision system is utilized onboard a work vehicle having an operator cabin and an apparatus associated with performance of a work task. The system includes: one or more display devices defining a plurality of display areas and a plurality of cameras carried by the work vehicle and coupled to display feeds at the display areas. A first camera of the cameras is oriented to selectively provide a first selected feed of at least a portion of the apparatus during performance of the work task. A controller is configured to display the first selected feed of the selected feeds with an insert, overlay, or icon that indicates the origin and orientation of the first camera as the first selected feed depicts performance of the work task by the apparatus.

摘要: A wireless vehicular security camera system for mounting to a vehicle dashboard includes a vehicle having a dashboard and a housing including a top wall, a bottom wall, and a perimeter wall. A plurality of cameras is mounted on the top wall and records a 360° range of view of an exterior and an interior of the vehicle. A mounting member is attached to the bottom wall and secures the housing to the dashboard. A control circuit is electrically coupled to the cameras and is positioned within the housing. A motion sensor is electrically coupled to the control circuit and actuates the cameras when the motion sensor detects movement. A transmitter is electrically coupled to the control circuit and wirelessly communicates with an electronic device.

摘要: An articulatable mount for temporarily affixing a camera and illumination system to a vehicle is disclosed. The articulating drive mechanism is lightweight, vertically compact, and ruggedized for severe service such as withstanding shocks from off-road travel and abrupt maneuvering. Articulation and illumination may be controlled remotely over Wi-Fi from inside or nearby the vehicle, and encrypted video feeds may be received by authorized users of an ad-hoc network of available smart-phone users and in-vehicle computer systems authorized and authenticated to participate in the network.

摘要: An ECU generates an overhead image including a vehicle and a vehicle surrounding area, on the basis of a plurality of images taken by a plurality of cameras mounted on the vehicle. When a distance between an object existing in an overlapping portion of imaging areas of the plurality of cameras and the vehicle is within a threshold and the object exists in a traveling direction of the vehicle, the overlapping portion is divided into two pairs of a road surface image and an object image, and combination is performed by alpha blending with an α value for the object image being set to 1 and an α value for the road surface image being set to 0 for an area that is the object image in one of the two pairs and is the road surface image in the other of the two pairs, to generate the overhead image.

摘要: A vehicle periphery monitoring device stores images photographed with a front camera, a rear camera, a left side camera, and a right side camera as a past front image, a past rear image, a past left side image, and a past right side image, respectively. When a vehicle travels while making a turn, the vehicle periphery monitoring device generates an underfloor image indicating a condition of an underfloor of the vehicle using at least one of the past front image and the past rear image and at least one of the past left side image and the past right side image. The vehicle periphery monitoring device displays the generated underfloor image on a display.
