摘要: A folding bicycle includes a front portion and a rear portion that are pivotally connected and positioned with each other by a buffer hinge assembly, which also helps to improve comfort of riding. The folding bicycle further has a buckle unit allowing a stem of the folding bicycle to be rotated, bent and positioned with respect to the rest of the front portion, and a long-lever brake assembly allowing easy braking operation and protecting brake wires from malicious cut. An adjustable supporter is provided on a frame of the front portion for carrying an external object, such as a secondary seat or a basket, while a housing made of punched metal parts and incorporating a luggage box is provided at the rear portion of the folding bicycle.

A coaxial two-wheel vehicle according to the present invention includes step portions on which feet are placed, and a handle capable of operating back-and-forth movements, and said vehicle moves with a passenger riding thereon. Upon detecting that the passenger gets off the vehicle by using a getting-off switch or the like, a control device of the coaxial two-wheel vehicle performs an assist control for getting-off the vehicle by increasing an inclination angle of each of the step portions with respect to a direction in which the passenger gets off the vehicle.

摘要: Enabled is to lighten the load on a rider and to make the rider senses a turning state at the turning time of a transverse two-wheeled vehicle. A transverse acceleration (a) at a turn controlling time is detected to make a next inclination control in accordance with the magnitude of the acceleration. (a) In the case of an acceleration (a)≦a predetermined threshold (a0), the vehicle is left uninclined to prevent the vehicle body from being unnecessarily inclined and rocked against a small centrifugal force, thereby to improve the riding comfortableness. (b) In the case of the acceleration (a)>the threshold (a0), a riding portion is inclined such that the inclination angle θ1 may become the larger as the acceleration (a) becomes the higher. This can reduce the load on the rider against the centrifugal force. (c) As the acceleration (a) becomes the higher, the riding portion is so inclined the more as to increase the difference between the balanced inclination angle of the vehicle body and the inclination angle of the riding portion, so that the rider can bodily sense the increase/decrease of the centrifugal force.

摘要: In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention a two-wheel vehicle is provided. The vehicle includes a pair of wheel housings, each wheel housing having an inner circumference and an outer circumference, and further having an annular gear rack being positioned on the inner circumference and a wheel secured on the outer circumference. A motor mechanism drives a gear train that is meshed to the annular gear racks. A chassis is connected to a frame and interconnects the pair of wheel housings to the frame such that the frame moves independently from the pair of wheel housings. A tilting mechanism tilts the frame about the chassis such that the vehicle turns in the direction of the tilt. A stabilizing mechanism, when the frame is tilting, counteracts the forces on the vehicle to assist in maintaining an upright position while the vehicle is turning.
