    摘要: A magnetization apparatus for magnetizing a magnetic material provided inside a yoke housing of a motor, which has a connector portion radially outward of the yoke housing, includes at least one pair of magnetization cores and a plurality of magnetization coils. The at least one pair of magnetization cores are provided to oppose to each other, wherein the at least one pair of magnetization cores have corresponding magnetization surfaces, which oppose to each other. The plurality of magnetization coils generate a magnetic field at the at least one pair of magnetization cores, wherein the plurality of magnetization coils magnetize the magnetic material in a state, where the yoke housing is provided between the magnetization surfaces. The at least one pair of magnetization cores defines a receiving recess therein for receiving the connector portion of the motor in the state, where the yoke housing is provided between the magnetization surfaces.

    摘要: Systems and methods for electrical component, e.g., brush, manufacture are provided that control grain orientation. The systems and methods utilize hot pressing techniques to enhance the properties and functionalities of the electrical components/brushes. An intermediate work product characterized by a grain orientation is initially formed through a conventional pressing technique. The conventionally-pressed intermediates are positioned within a cavity/die with the grain orientation in a predetermined orientation relative to the hot press force to be applied thereto. The hot pressed final product exhibits superior resistivity, strength and apparent density/durability. Surface features may be formed on the face(s) of the final work product during the hot pressing step that cannot be achieved in conventional processing techniques. Multi-layered assemblies are provided that may be cross-linked or inter-bonded along an interface therebetween. Advantageous articles of manufacture, e.g., brushes and brush assemblies, are also disclosed.

The spring retention plunge defines an arcuate face angled relative to the axis. A biasing member exerts a force directly on the arcuate face to bias the brush into contract with a commutator. An electrical connection is made between the commutator and a power supply.

The terminals are separated from each other by cutting the coupling portion, which is exposed from the opening of the resin body. A coating member coats the opening of the resin body to insulate each terminal.
