    摘要: A rotary electronic component capable of reducing an abrasion and a metal fatigue of a slider and extending a rotation life time compared to the conventional technology. A rotary electronic component is provided with a buffer member between a sliding portion of a slider and a rotor. Thus, the sliding portion is energized toward the annular electrode with a proper elastic force and the sliding portion is held. Because of this, vibration of the sliding portion is suppressed and metal fatigue of the slider can be reduced. Furthermore, since the lubricant is impregnated into the buffer member and a part of the buffer member is in contact with the annular electrode, the lubricant can be applied on the annular electrode. Consequently, the sliding portion slides smoothly and the abrasion of the contact portion can be further reduced. In addition, since the buffer member functions to wipe the surface of the annular electrode, foreign substances such as dust on the annular electrode are collected. Thus, harmful effect to the contact portion by the foreign substances can be prevented. By the above described configurations, the rotary electronic component of the present invention can obtain the extended life time and high operation reliability.

    摘要: An electrical machine with a brush commutator arrangement (1) is proposed. Brushes (3) and a commutator (5) are adapted and arranged such that, upon operating the electrical machine (1), the brush (3) and the commutator (5) are displaced relative to each other in a lateral displacement direction (7) and a contact surface (9) of the brush (3) mechanically contacts a contact surface (11) of the commutator (5) along an overlapping area (13) thereby generating an electrical contact. Accordingly, an electric current is transmitted between brush (3) and commutator (5) through the overlapping area (13). An orthogonal electrical conductivity of the brush (3) and/or the commutator (5) in a direction (25) orthogonal to a respective contact surface (9, 11) locally varies along the lateral displacement direction (7). An orthogonal electrical conductivity distribution in the brush (3) and/or the commutator (5) is adapted such that, even when operating the electrical machine at maximum allowable power, for at least 90% of all spatial configurations during displacing the brush (3) and the commutator (5) relative to each other, an electrical current density through the overlapping area (13) does not exceed 130% of a rated maximal average electrical current density through the brush commutator arrangement (1). Due to the specific variation of orthogonal electrical conductivity within the brush (3) or commutator (5), sparking and resulting wear in the proposed brush commutator arrangement (1) may be reduced.

    摘要: A brush for an electric motor has a brush body having a front end surface configured to make sliding electrical contact with a commutator of the motor. First and second side surfaces are connected to the front end surface. The first side surface and the second side surface are positioned on opposite sides of the brush body in a rotational direction of the commutator. The front end surface has a first contact surface and a second contact surface that contact the commutator earlier than other regions of the front end surface, and are respectively positioned on diametrically opposed corners of the front end surface. In an initial state, the width of the contact area between the brush and the commutator is increased to extend the commutation time.
