    摘要: A hose for lining pressure pipe lines is described comprising a web being made up of warp and woof threads, which are made of plastic, as well as a coating of thermoplastic material, which coating is impermeable to the medium to be transported in the pipe lines and is applied onto one side of the web. Due to the pressure of a fluid, the hose is introduced into a pipe line and turned up therewith, in which case a cement in the interior of the hose prior to turning-up will come between the outside of the hose and the inside wall of the pipe line. In order to, on the one hand, obtain high strength in the longitudinal direction and to, on the other hand, facilitate introduction of the hose into the pipe line, the stretching ability of the web, in the transverse direction of the hose, is greater by at least one third as compared to that in its longitudinal direction and, preferably, is at least twice as great. In the web, the proportion of the warp threads, advantageously, is >65 percent by weight and the proportion of the woof threads, advantageously, is 12 percent.

    摘要: A ravel-resistant, self-supporting woven synthetic fabric vascular graft including a fusible fiber integrated into the weave in the filling yarn is provided. The graft is woven from multifilament polyester warp yarns which can be textured or flat. The filling yarn includes a low melting fusible fiber or resin which can be combined with a stiff monofilament. The monofilament component provides radial rigidity to improve kink and crush resistance. After heat setting, the low melting fusible resin fuses to orthogonal warp yarns at each intersection and provides ravel resistance to the finished graft. Improved kink resistance make the tubular grafts suitable for use in medium and small diameter peripheral applications. A preferred graft has a single velour outer surface and a smooth inner surface.

    摘要: A textured polyester yarn having improved variation in dyeability along its length is composed of a plurality of individual filaments each having thick and thin sections randomly distributed along the filament axis, said yarn having an Uster evenness value of 1.0 to 10.0%, a T index of 3 to 30 and a variation in reflected light intensity in a continuous dyeing test of .+-.0.15 to .+-.0.80 and said yarn preferably having not-untwisted portions containing genuine twists of a fixed direction intermittently retained at random along its length. The yarn is produced by false twisting a polyester yarn composed of a plurality of individual filaments each having variation in cross-sectional area along its length, in which the thick sections have a birefringence of 15 to 80.times.10.sup.-3 and the thin sections have a birefringence of 90 to 200+10.sup.-3, at a temperature of not lower than 180.degree.
