摘要： Aspects of the present invention relate to a dynamic woven material that is capable of undergoing a dimensional change in response to an external stimulus. The dynamic woven material comprises a plurality of discrete woven cells, where each woven cell comprises a reactive region and a non-reactive region. The reactive region changes from a first physical state to a second physical state when the woven material is exposed to the external stimulus. The woven material may be formed with zonal stretch properties by varying the areas occupied by the reactive region and the non-reactive region in each woven cell. For example, the bigger the area occupied by the reactive region in the woven cells in a particular zone of the dynamic woven material, the higher the level of stretch in the particular zone may be. Exemplary products manufactured from the dynamic woven material include, for example, articles of footwear.

摘要： The present application discloses a novel light flame-retardant heat-insulated warm-retention protective fabric and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the steps of making soluble fibers and wrapping fibers into core spun yarns by ring spun core-spun spinning method, and weaving the made core spun yarns into a grey fabric by a loom; and then dissolving the soluble fibers in the grey fabric, and finally making the grey fabric into the novel light flame-retardant heat-insulated warm-retention protective fabric upon dyeing and finishing procedures. The protective fabric is a hollow yarn fabric and includes conventional woven goods and knit goods, still air will be generated among the yarns. With respect to the protective fabric with flowing air in the prior art, the protective fabric of the present invention has the advantages of better heat insulation and warm retention, lighter weight and stronger comfort.

摘要： A process is described wherein pile yarn is woven with cotton weft and warp yarns to produce terry fabrics, such as towels. The fabric is then washed in warm water to dissolve the PVA fibers. The amount of fibers dissolved, depends upon the count of the yarn or yarns used. By dissolving the PVA fibers, a hollow air space is produced throughout the pile yarn, corresponding to an increase in the air space in the pile yarn. By increasing the air space in the pile yarn, the resulting towels are softer and bulkier than standard cotton towels. The present invention further relates to pile yarn in terry woven fabric (warp yarn), or weft yarn, in the case of flat fabrics.
