摘要： The current invention are towels that are designed to wrap up wet hair, to control and assist in drying wet hair. It is a Birds Eye Organic cotton fabric cut to taper. The wide end is rounded, to be placed on the back of the head, and hair will end near the tapering end. The tapering fabric is twisted and secured in place over the user's head. The single-piece model will have a single opening, and use elastic bands to hold the opening on the head. A multi-piece model can be made, in which the tapered end is secured to the broad base either by sliding into a loop or by a loop and button.

摘要： A process is described wherein pile yarn is woven with cotton weft and warp yarns to produce terry fabrics, such as towels. The fabric is then washed in warm water to dissolve the PVA fibers. The amount of fibers dissolved, depends upon the count of the yarn or yarns used. By dissolving the PVA fibers, a hollow air space is produced throughout the pile yarn, corresponding to an increase in the air space in the pile yarn. By increasing the air space in the pile yarn, the resulting towels are softer and bulkier than standard cotton towels. The present invention further relates to pile yarn in terry woven fabric (warp yarn), or weft yarn, in the case of flat fabrics.

In some configurations, the wearable towel is secured to the wrist or forearm by a band and may be worn wrapped around the wrist or forearm in a corkscrew fashion for use as a towel, a sports-wrist sweatband, or a utility towel. Alternatively, the wearable towel may be wrapped around the forehead or the face for use as a sweatband/headband or facemask, and secured by tucking the free short end of the towel through the loop. The particular shape and fabric composition of the invention contribute to the comfort and ease of use of the wearable towel on the arm, head, or face.
