Abstract:
There is disclosed an EL element having at least one layer made from an organic material between an electron injection electrode and a hole injection electrode. The organic material consists of an oxadiazole series compound which has a plurality of oxadiazole rings, each of the oxadiazole rings being substituted by a condensed polycyclic aromatic group.
Abstract:
A method of curing certain organopolysiloxane compositions by a combination of heat and exposure to ultraviolet radiation or electron beam provides the ability to use lower temperatures than heat cures alone and shorter cure times than ultraviolet radiation or electron beam alone. The organopolysiloxane compositions are addition-curable and are made up of alkenyl-containing organopolysiloxane, organohydrogensiloxane, a platinum catalyst, an addition-reaction inhibitor selected from alkynol, 3-methyl-3-pentene-1-yne, 3,5-dimethyl-3-hexene-1-yne, methylvinylsiloxane cyclics, benzotriazole, and mixtures thereof, and a photosensitizer.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a vehicle-mounted communication device that carries out radio communications with a communication device for pedestrians which is carried by a pedestrian, the vehicle-mounted communication device including: a receiver that receives pedestrian information showing whether the pedestrian belongs to a pedestrian group formed of the pedestrian and a plurality of pedestrians in the vicinity of the pedestrian from the communication device for pedestrians; a controller that judges the pedestrian information received by the receiver and issues a command to present pedestrian attention information when the pedestrian information shows that the pedestrian does not belong to a pedestrian group; and an information outputter that presents the pedestrian attention information according to the command from the controller. Therefore, the vehicle-mounted communication device enables the driver to certainly recognize the existence of a pedestrian not belonging to a pedestrian group.
Abstract:
To provide a motor control circuit that variably controls the speed of a motor, in which an appropriate control gain corresponding to the speed of the motor that is set can be automatically set. The motor control circuit includes a period error signal output means, a speed error signal output means and a gain correction means.
Abstract:
It is an object of the present invention to provide an organic electroluminescent element having a longer lifetime. In order to accomplish the object, an organic electroluminescent element adapted to comprise a light emitting layer including an organic material between an anode and a cathode is provided with a hole transport layer for transporting holes injected from the anode toward the light emitting layer. Along with the hole transport layer, an intermediate layer having an energy level of a lowest unoccupied molecular orbital lower than those of the hole transport layer and the light emitting layer is provided therebetween.
Abstract:
An organic light-emitting device including a first electrode, a plurality of hole transport layers, a plurality of intermediate layers, an emission layer, a plurality of electron transport layers, and a second electrode. The emission layer may include a host, an emitting dopant, and an auxiliary dopant. The host and the auxiliary dopant are able to transport different types of carriers.
Abstract:
A display capable of preventing an emission layer from deterioration resulting from temperature rise of an electrode also when the same is increased in size and easily connectable with an external current source also when the same is connected with the external current source on a single portion is provided. This display comprises a first electrode formed on a substrate, an emission layer formed on the first electrode, a second electrode formed on the emission layer, a peripheral electrode, arranged to enclose the outer periphery of the second electrode and connected with at least three edges of the outer periphery of the second electrode, having a smaller sheet resistance value than the second electrode, and a current source connection terminal connected to the outer periphery of the peripheral electrode. Thus, current readily flows from the second electrode toward the peripheral electrode, while the current can be dispersedly fed along three or four directions.
Abstract:
A light emitting layer produces light having peak intensities in a wavelength range of not less than 460 nm and not more than 510 nm and a wavelength range of not less than 550 nm and not more than 640 nm, respectively. Each of a red color filter layer, green color filter layer, and blue color filter layer has a transmittance of 50% or more in a prescribed wavelength range and a transmittance of 10% or less in a prescribed wavelength range. The ratio of an intensity value of the light emitted from the light emitting layer at a wavelength of 575 nm to an intensity value of the light emitted at a wavelength of 475 nm is not less than 0.4 and not more than 4.0.
Abstract:
An electron transport layer includes an electron transport material (host material) and a carrier transportable dopant. The carrier transportable dopant is contained 1% by weight to 50% by weight, preferably 1% by weight to 10% by weight for the electron transport material. A compound having a carbazole group or a derivative of the compound is employed as the carrier transportable dopant. A complex of an 8-hydroxyquinoline derivative and metal is employed as the electron transport material.
Abstract:
A hole injecting electrode composed of ITO is formed on a glass substrate. On the hole injecting electrode, a hole injecting layer composed of CuPc (copper phthalocyanine), a plasma thin film of CFx formed by plasma CVD, a hole transporting layer of NPB, and a light emitting layer are formed in the order. On the light emitting layer, an electron transporting layer is formed, and an electron injecting electrode is formed thereon.
