Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described related to timer-based sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX). A UE may receive configuration information for a sidelink DRX mode from a base station or another UE, which may indicate one or more parameters of the sidelink DRX mode. When operating in the sidelink DRX mode, a group of UEs may have shared active durations and inactive durations for coordinating sidelink communications. In a timer-based sidelink DRX mode, if a UE receives or transmits a sidelink communication, the UE may initiate an inactivity timer, and the UE may continue to monitor a sidelink channel for other sidelink communications while the timer is running. One or more rules may govern the operation of an inactivity timer with respect to the shared inactive durations.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may generate a signal for a set of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) for an SSB burst set, wherein the set of SSBs are associated with a set of analog beamforming configurations associated with a set of spatial directions. The base station may transmit the signal for the set of SSBs using the set of analog beamforming configurations over the set of spatial directions. The base station may receive one or more random access channel (RACH) communications corresponding to one or more SSBs of the set of SSBs in accordance with one or more frequency domain beam sweeping configurations corresponding to one or more analog beamforming configurations of the set of analog beamforming configurations. Abstract: A sidelink user equipment (UE) receives a group wake-up signal (WUS) from a base station and decodes the group WUS based on zone identification (ID) information of the sidelink UE. A base station transmits a wake-up signal to a group of sidelink user equipments (UEs) and transmits zone ID information to the group. A group wake-up signal parameter is a function of the zone ID information. A base station generates a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) sequence, selects a port for a DMRS, and/or scrambles a control channel or a data channel based on a zone ID of a sidelink UE. A sidelink UE compares a zone ID of the sidelink UE with a zone ID of a neighbor UE and initiates a conditional handover to another cell when the zone ID of the sidelink UE differs from the zone ID of the neighbor UE.

A first wireless device may be configured to transmit, to a second wireless device, one or more orbital angular momentum (OAM) signals in accordance with a set of radial codeword sequences associated with a polynomial radial codeword configuration, where the one or more OAM signals are transmitted based on a first value of a polynomial term for the polynomial radial codeword configuration. The first wireless device may receive, from the second wireless device on the one or more OAM signals, a feedback message indicating a second value of the polynomial term. The first wireless device may then transmit, to the second wireless device, one or more additional OAM signals in accordance with the set of radial codeword sequences and based on the second value for the polynomial term.
