    Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to transmitting, to at least one base station, at least one indication of a capability to simultaneously transmit using two different radio access technology (RAT) sidelinks over respective frequency bands. An indication of resources, corresponding to a first RAT sidelink of the two different RAT sidelinks, to exclude in assigning first resources, corresponding to a first RAT sidelink of the two different RAT sidelinks, can also be transmitted to the at least one base station or a second base station. One or more resource grants assigning at least one of the first resources for transmitting using the first RAT sidelink of the two different RAT sidelinks or second resources for transmitting using the second RAT sidelink of the two different RAT sidelinks can be received from the at least one base station or the second base station.

    Abstract: In one aspect, a method includes determining, by a user equipment (UE), a channel busy ratio (CBR) window for a CBR measurement for one or more resources; determining, by the UE, a CBR measurement value for the CBR window and for the one or more resources; determining, by the UE, a channel occupancy ratio (CR) window based on a first number of subframes used for a history of past transmissions and based on a second number of subframes used for future planned transmissions and corresponding retransmissions; and determining, by the UE, a CR value for the CR window based on subchannels used for the one or more resources for the first number of subframes and based on subchannels estimated for the one or more resources for the second number of subframes. To mitigate or decrease collisions or other interference on resources (e.g., time and frequency resources) used by other UEs in sidelink communications, a UE may determine a blind retransmission of a packet, determine that the packet satisfies one or more conditions based in part on the blind retransmission, and transmit feedback signal relating to the blind retransmission of the packet.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a transmitting user equipment (UE) may determine a data packet to transmit to another UE and determine a set of candidate resources for transmission of the data packet based on a set of time-frequency resources that are allocated for UE-to-UE communications. A resource reservation signal (RRS) may be transmitted to indicate to other UEs that the set of candidate resources have been reserved by a UE. The RRS may be transmitted such that the RRS may be differentiated from other regular transmissions based at least in part on information provided by a control channel associated with the RRS or a payload of a transmission that includes the RRS. The RRS may indicate one or more of a size of an allocation of the resources and multiple locations of the resources within a time-frequency resource pool.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may communicate with one or more other UEs using multiple transmissions in a device-to-device (D2D) communications deployment. A number of UEs may be configured with D2D resources, and a transmitting UE may identify available D2D resources from the configured resources. The transmitting UE may identify a resource for a first transmission of a D2D transmission from the available D2D resources, and may identify a second resource for a second transmission of the D2D transmission. The second transmission may be a blind HARQ transmission that may be transmitted to enhance the likelihood that one or more receiving UEs successfully receive the transmission. In some examples, the second resource may be identified based on other available resources within an predetermined time window around the first transmission.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for dynamic resource avoidance and slot aggregation. The described techniques enable a user equipment (UE) in a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) system to select resources for varying transmission of a data packet (e.g., over multiple slots). The UE may determine a set of candidate transmission time intervals (TTIs) for transmission of the data packet based on a resource map, which may involve selecting resources that are unoccupied by other UEs as indicated by the resource map or preempting other UEs based on traffic priority or latency. The UE may transmit a reservation indication indicating resources to be reserved for subsequent transmissions (e.g., retransmission) and a UE receiving the reservation indication may update its resource map.
