Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may obtain information associated with a first type of communication and a second type of communication, the first type of communication having a range requirement that satisfies a range requirement threshold and a periodicity that satisfies a periodicity threshold and the second type of communication having a range requirement that does not satisfy the range requirement threshold and a periodicity that does not satisfy the periodicity threshold. The UE may allocate one or more resources for a sidelink communication to be transmitted by the UE based at least in part on the information. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit downlink control information (DCI) to a user equipment (UE) indicating a joint field for at least a first component carrier (CC) and a second CC of a carrier aggregation configuration. For example, the joint field may include a rate matching (RM) indication for the first CC and the second CC, a zero power channel state information reference signal (ZP-CSI-RS) indication for the first CC and the second CC, or both. In some cases, the RM indication may include a common RM resource (RMR) configuration applicable for both the first CC and the second CC or per-CC RMR configurations that indicate separate RMRs for each of the CCs. Additionally, the ZP-CSI-RS indication may include a set identifier that indicates a resource set for ZP-CSI-RS resources for both the first CC and the second CC.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for measurement of reference signals by an aerial user equipment (UE), and reporting of the measurements to a serving base station. An aerial UE may initiate one or more measurements based on one or more height thresholds, and may transmit measurement reports that provide an indication of height along with measured parameters. An aerial UE may also provide an indication of a number of other aerial UEs or other aerial vehicles that are detected within a vicinity of the aerial UE, Reports of measurements (e.g., reference signal received power (RSRP) measurements) by multiple UEs for multiple different locations and heights may be used to determine coverage maps and/or drone density maps for multiple different heights or altitudes.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to receive, from a network entity, a control message indicating a serving cell group including a set of serving cells usable for wireless communications at the UE. The UE may determine whether to monitor for a multi-cell scheduling message for the serving cell group based on activation states of the set of serving cells of the serving cell group, where the multi-cell scheduling message includes scheduling information for multiple serving cells of the set of serving cells. The UE may then monitor at least a portion of control signaling that includes the multi-cell scheduling message in accordance with the determination.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may monitor for one or more semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) transmissions according to one or more SPS configurations. The UE may generate a set of feedback bits associated with the SPS transmissions, the feedback bits scheduled for transmission in a first set of uplink symbols. The UE may receive control signaling that changes an availability of the first set of uplink symbols for transmission of the set of feedback bits, and then defer transmission of the set of feedback bits to a second set of uplink symbols. The UE may determine whether to transmit at least a portion of the set of feedback bits in the second set of uplink symbols, and may transmit at least the portion of the set of feedback bits in the second set of uplink symbols and communicate in accordance with the determining.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a user equipment (UE) may receive a feedback configuration for providing feedback for downlink communications from a base station. Based on the feedback configuration, the UE may determine whether one or more feedback processes has a multicast-only configuration for multicast data communications, or a multicast-or-unicast configuration for either multicast data communications or unicast data communications. The UE may decode one or more transmissions associated with the one or more feedback processes based on the multicast-only or multicast-or-unicast configuration, and may determine a feedback codebook based on the multicast-only or multicast-or-unicast configuration of the one or more feedback processes. In one aspect, a network entity may initially perform a multicast transmission and then a multicast retransmission according to a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process. In another aspect, a user equipment (UE) may initially receive a multicast transmission from a network entity and a subsequent multicast transmission according to a HARQ process. In an additional aspect, a network entity may initially perform a multicast transmission and then a subsequent unicast retransmission according to a HARQ process. In yet another aspect, a UE may initially receive a multicast transmission from a network entity and a subsequent unicast transmission according to a HARQ process.
