    摘要: A process for forming a film of hydrolyzed ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer employing a mixed solvent of water, at least one member selected from the group consisting of propyl alcohol, butyl alcohol and benzyl alcohol, and at least one member selected from the group consisting of formic acid, an alkyl formate, acetic actid, an alkyl acetate, dimethylsulfoxide and N-methylpyrrolidone as a solvent for the copolymer.A process includes an applying operation which can be carried out at normal temperature employing a solution in a low concentration of the copolymer.Also, a process need not any additional operation or special devices to form an even and homogeneous film of the hydrolyzed ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having excellent properties such as transparency and gas impermeability suitable for wrapping or packaging material.

    摘要: There is provided a method of producing a conjugated diene rubber capable of being used as a starting material for a crosslinked rubber that can be used in applications such as tire treads and can raise the fuel efficiency. This method of producing a conjugated diene rubber comprises (a) a step of reacting a first alkoxysilane compound having in a molecule at least one group convertible to onium by an onium generator and at least one alkoxysilyl group that has at least two alkoxy groups, with a conjugated diene polymer having an alkali metal or alkaline-earth metal active terminal and obtained by polymerizing a conjugated diene compound and an aromatic vinyl compound, thereby to obtain a modified conjugated diene polymer that has the group convertible to onium and the alkoxysilyl group, and (b) a step of mixing the resulting modified conjugated diene polymer with the onium generator and a second alkoxysilane compound having in a molecule at least one alkoxysilyl group and at least one group convertible to onium by the onium generator.

    摘要: An upper die with a button-mounting member includes a solid axial part with a flat tip, a bar-like pin member with a pointed tip, and a cylindrical punch surrounding the pin member. The button is set above the cloth and the button-mounting member is disposed below the cloth. The upper die is lowered until the button comes into contact with the upper side of the cloth and the tip of the axial part contacts the lower side of the cloth. The pin member is lowered until the tip hits against the tip of the axial part, resulting in a pilot bore through the cloth. The axial part passes through the cloth along the pilot bore and through the mounting opening. After that, the axial part is swaged by the pin member and the punch.
