摘要: Disclosed is a method for synthesizing single crystalline molybdenum disulfide via a hydrothermal process that minimizes or eliminates carbon byproducts. The method involves providing two components, including a source of molybdenum and a mineralizer solution, to an inert reaction vessel, heating one zone sufficiently to dissolve the source of molybdenum in the mineralizer solution, and heating a second zone to a lower temperature to allow thermal transport to drive the dissolved material to the second zone, and then precipitate MoS2 on a seed crystal.

摘要: A method of applying a separator ink onto a dried electrode of a lithium ion battery. The method includes preparing a separator ink suspension, applying the separator ink suspension onto the dried electrode, and drying the applied separator ink suspension. The separator ink suspension includes a binder comprising 20 wt % to 50 wt % of a total weight of the separator ink suspension, the binder being selected from the group consisting of PVDF, PVDF-HFP, PTFE, PEO, PMMA, PAN, CNC, SBR, and combinations thereof; a solvent selected from the group consisting of NMP, DMF, acetone, DMAc, DMSO, trimethyl urea, triethyl phosphate, and combinations thereof; a non-solvent selected from the group consisting of glycerol, water, ethanol, methanol, ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, triethylene glycol, hexane, heptane, and combinations thereof; and a ceramic filler comprising 50 wt % to 80 wt % of the total weight of the composite electrolyte the ceramic filler being selected from the group consisting of Al2O3, SiO2, TiO2, MgO, Li2O, LiAlO2, BaTiO3, LAGP, LATP, LLTO, and combinations thereof.

摘要: A pulse oximeter sensor assembly and a method for monitoring and assessing a physical state of a subject with the assembly are provided. The assembly includes a pulse oximeter sensor, an indicator device, a processor coupled to the pulse oximeter sensor and the indicator device, a base layer configured to conform to a temporal region of the subject's head, and a mounting assembly configured to enable securing of the pulse oximeter sensor assembly in the temporal region of the subject's head. By positioning the assembly in the temporal region of the subject's head, the assembly can utilized data taken from the temporal artery and provide an external indication as to the physical status of the subject.

摘要: A method for aerosol jet printing a layered perovskite structure comprises applying a PEDOT:PSS layer to a substrate; applying a layer of lead iodide (PbI2) to the PEDOT:PSS layer; and applying an aerosol mist of methylammonium iodide (CH3NH3I) atop the PbI2 layer with an aerosol jet nozzle to form a CH3NH3PbI3 perovskite film layer. The substrate may be an ITO glass substrate, and the PEDOT:PSS layer may be applied by a process selected from spin-coating, inkjet-printing, slot-die-coating, aerosol jet printing, physical vapor deposition, chemical vapor deposition, and electrochemical deposition. The PbI2 layer may be applied by a process selected from spin-coating, aerosol jet printing, inkjet-printing, slot-die-coating, physical vapor deposition, chemical vapor deposition, and electrochemical deposition, and the PbI2 for application to the PEDOT:PSS layer may be in a solution of DMF, DMSO, γ-butyrolactone, or a combination thereof. The annealing of the PbI2 layer may be performed at about 80° C. or lower.
