    Abstract: A method that includes receiving, from one or more motion sensors in a device, data describing a signature arc in three-dimensional space, the signature arc having been generated by gesturing using the device; identifying, from the data describing the gestured signature arc, a plurality of points that correspond to the gestured signature arc in three-dimensional space; generating a curve along the identified plurality of points corresponding to the gestured signature arc; generating a two-dimensional representation of the gestured signature arc; and displaying, on a display screen, the generated two-dimensional representation of the gestured signature arc.

    Abstract: A computer-based method for creating a high fidelity page layout document is provided. The method includes assigning an identifier to each element of a plurality of elements in a reflowable document, creating a fixed page layout document, including the identifiers, from the reflowable document, parsing the fixed page layout document into a plurality of elements based on the identifiers, each element being associated with an identifier, linking the elements of the reflowable document to the elements of the fixed page layout document based on the identifiers, and creating a final document based on the reflowable document, the fixed page layout document and the identifiers, each element of the final document having a fixed position on a page.

    Abstract: A system for determining a health status of a tank is provided. The system includes a temperature sensor, a pressure sensor, a sensor coupled to a hydraulic actuator, a breather valve, and a controller. The controller is configured to receive a signal indicative of a temperature and a volume of a fluid within the tank from the temperature sensor and the sensor coupled to the hydraulic actuator respectively. The controller is configured to determine an estimated pressure of the fluid within the tank based on the received signals and a breather performance curve. The controller is configured to receive a signal indicative of a pressure of the fluid within the tank and compare it with the estimated pressure. The controller is also configured to determine the health status of the tank and to actuate one or more of an operator console display unit and the hydraulic actuator.

    Abstract: A display device receiving an image is provided. The display device includes a micro control unit and a plurality of transceivers. The plurality of transceivers are disposed in a plurality of corners of the display device respectively and connected with the micro control unit. When the display device corporately display the image with a plurality of the display devices, the transceivers in the display device detects detected information from the transceivers in the adjacent display devices, and the micro control unit determines an absolute coordinate information of the display device according to the detected information, wherein the display device displays a portion of the image according to the absolute coordinate information of the display device.

    Abstract: A guide is configured in an authoring program to aid the user in editing objects on a document. The guide can be a horizontally or vertically oriented guide line and can be created from a single ruler, either a vertical or horizontal ruler displayed on the workspace. To create a horizontal guide, the user can position the cursor on a horizontal ruler. The user can click-and-hold and drag the cursor to create and position a horizontal guide over the workspace. To create a vertical guide, the user can position the cursor in the horizontal ruler and click and release. The user can create both vertical and horizontal guides using the vertical ruler in a corresponding manner, where clicking on the vertical ruler creates a horizontal guide, and click-and-hold and dragging creates a vertical guide. Guides can be individually configured or altered in their visual characteristics.
