The method includes: receiving a request from an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) network node of an IMS network; and in response to receiving the request, providing NAS registration state information associated with a user equipment (UE) to the IMS network node, the NAS registration state information indicating at least one of fourth-generation (4G) single radio voice call continuity (SRVCC) capability of the UE or fifth-generation (5G) SRVCC capability of the UE that is applicable when using an access network supported by a core network, wherein the server is configured to store separate instances of UE SRVCC capabilities, the separate instances including indications of at least one of 4G UE SRVCC capability or 5G UE SRVCC capability that is applicable when using the access network supported by the core network, and wherein the UE is registered with the IMS network using a session initiation protocol (SIP) via the access network.

摘要: A process and a computer establish a data transfer from a provider (1, 2) that provides data to a consumer (9) that uses the data. A consumer (9) transmits a request message (probe) for requested data to a communications agent (5). In response, the communications agent (5) adds an entry for the request message (probe) to a requests list (AL). Subsequently, a provider (1, 2) transmits a registration message (Hello) to the communications agent (5). The communications agent (5) searches the requests list (AL) for an entry for a request message (probe) that matches the received registration message (Hello). If a matching entry is found in the requests list (AL), the communications agent (5) initiates a data transfer from the provider (1, 2) to the consumer (9).

摘要: Disclosed are systems and methods for a Rich Communication Services (RCS) Proxy that can be enabled via a novel network element, which provides functionality for establishing and enabling emergency RCS communications. The disclosed RCS framework can facilitate simultaneous voice and chat features for an emergency services caller. With Session Initiation Protocol (SIP and Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) interfaces, the disclosed RCS framework can function to automatically establish an emergency chat session for RCS-capable devices. For devices that are not configured with RCS capabilities, the disclosed framework can function to provide a uniform resource locator (URL) via a short message/messaging service (SMS) message, such that via interaction with the URL, an internet session with the PSAP can be established. Accordingly, the disclosed RCS framework provides functionality for aligning voice and chat interactions between conversing entities (e.g., a user caller and a dispatcher at the PSAP handling the incoming call).

摘要: A method for realizing communication sessions using a network and involving a user equipment is provided. In order to establish a communication session regarding the user equipment, a signaling session is initiated using a register message and an invite message according to a session initiation protocol, wherein the signaling session is handled by a processing entity of the network. The method comprises the register message being received by the processing entity, and the processing entity generating a product identifier information that is indicative of a product alternative used by the user equipment from a plurality of product alternatives. The product identifier information is transmitted to the user equipment, and the invite message is received by the processing entity, wherein the invite message comprises the product identifier information, and wherein the invite message is handled, by the processing entity in dependence of the product identifier information received from the user equipment.

摘要: A network operator can partition network elements, including elements of an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) or Policy and Charging Rules Functions (PCRFs) into groups reserved for specific types of subscribers. When a user equipment (UE) registers with an IMS, elements of the IMS can contact a Home Subscriber Server (HSS) to determine a subscriber type associated with the UE. Based on the UE's subscriber type, an IMS element can determine an application server or other IMS element to contact about the UE based on identifying application servers or IMS elements that are also associated with the same subscriber type as the UE. Similarly, an IMS element can determine a PCRF to contact about the UE based on identifying a PCRF that is associated with the same subscriber type as the UE.

摘要: A system is presented that includes secure push-to-talk voice functionality. Using encryption, authentication, user filtering, and integration with new and existing LMR systems, a secure voice platform ensures malicious software, unauthorized access and brute force security attacks will not compromise the voice communications of the system. The VoIP system is engineered to ensure graceful system degradation in the event of maintenance activities, natural disasters and failure modes. The hardened VoIP system offers the functions a LMR trunking system while utilizing broadband connections. Private calls, group calls, Emergency Alarms with covert monitoring capability, scanning and priority scanning may be incorporated into the system. The system includes a VoIP-controller that serves as a trunking controller, manages available VoIP-based conference bridges, and assigns them as needed to the parties involved in each voice call. The system includes multiple fallback methods that may be prioritized based on pre-failure analytics.
