Abstract: A method for transmitting a discrete fourier transform (DFT) DFT-S-OFDM signal including frequency domain reference symbols is disclosed. The method comprises: determining to null a plurality of data symbols prior to DFT-spreading; performing DFT-spreading including the determined null data symbols; puncturing an interleaved output of the DFT-spreading; inserting reference symbols in a frequency domain of the punctured and interleaved DFT-S-OFDM signal; and transmitting the DFT-S-OFDM signal with inserted reference symbols to a receiver. The transmitted DFT-S-OFDM signal enables the receiver to apply zeros corresponding to the reference symbols to an interleaved input of DFT-despreading, and cancel interference due to the puncturing by using all outputs of the DFT-despreading.

Abstract: Optical transmission device includes: a reception unit, a detector, a mapping unit and a transmission unit. The reception unit receives a first signal transmitted based on a first clock. The detector detects rate information for storing client data in the first signal in a transmission frame based on the first signal. The mapping unit generates the transmission frame by mapping the client data to a payload area of the transmission frame based on the rate information. The transmission unit outputs the transmission frame or a second transmission frame including the transmission frame to a network. The reception unit, the detector, and the transmission unit are implemented by a hardware circuit, and the mapping unit is implemented by software processing using a processor.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may transmit DCIs to a UE to schedule instances of one or more MBS TBs, the multiple instances of the one or more TBs being time-interleaved. For example, the network entity may transmit a first set of DCIs scheduling a first set of instances of a first TB, and a second set of DCIs scheduling a second set of instances of a second TB, where at least one instance of the first set of instances may be interleaved with the second set of instances. In some cases, the first and second set of DCIs may include one DCI to schedule the respective set of instances, or one DCI per instance of the respective set of instances. Additionally, or alternatively, the network entity may indicate one or more parameters to the UE associated with MBS inter-TB time interleaving.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may perform a probabilistic shaping procedure using a shaping rate that is selected in accordance with a rule associated with a target spectral efficiency value, a modulation order, or both. Similarly, the wireless device may perform a channel coding procedure whose coding rate is selected in accordance with the rule. The rule may correspond to a relationship between the coding rate and the shaping rate. In some cases, the wireless device may select the shaping rate and the coding rate to be predefined values based on a target spectral efficiency value. In some examples, the wireless device may select the shaping rate and the coding rate based on a threshold coding rate, a quantity of punctured nodes used in the channel coding procedure, a quantity of layers corresponding to a multi-layer transmission, or any combination thereof.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify remaining padding bits in a medium access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU). The UE may transmit, via the remaining padding bits in the MAC PDU, a delay status report (DSR), wherein the DSR is prioritized over a buffer status report (BSR) with respect to being transmitted via the remaining padding bits in the MAC PDU. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: A method and a network node for paging are disclosed. According to an embodiment, the network node determines, for current paging occasion (PO), a reference terminal device that has the worst radio link quality among one or more terminal devices needed to be paged at the current PO or a subsequent PO in current paging time window (PTW). The network node determines, from multiple terminal devices needed to be paged in the current PTW, one or more target terminal devices to be paged at the current PO together with the reference terminal device, based at least on radio link qualities of the multiple terminal devices. The network node pages the one or more target terminal devices and the reference terminal device at the current PO, using link adaptation based on the reference terminal device.

Abstract: A data feedback method is described. The method includes a second terminal sending first feedback information to a first terminal based on a sidelink. The first terminal determines, based on a receiving result of the first terminal for first data and a receiving result that is of the second terminal and that is indicated by the first feedback information, second feedback information that is sent to a network device. In this way, an energy saving requirement of the second terminal is met. Moreover, the described method ensures the network device can also determine receiving results of the first terminal and the second terminal based on the second feedback information, thereby reducing unnecessary operations performed by the network device.
