Abstract: A sample conveying device estimates a factor causing a decrease in a conveyance speed of a sample. The sample conveying device includes a conveying container that includes a magnet or magnetic material and contains a sample, a conveyance unit in which a plurality of magnetic poles, each of which includes a core and a coil, are arranged. The conveying container is moved on a conveying surface. A control unit controls a voltage applied to the plurality of magnetic poles, detects a position of the conveying container on the conveying surface, and controls movement of the conveying container. The control unit detects an amplitude of a current flowing through the coil of each of the plurality of magnetic poles when the conveying container approaches each of the plurality of the magnetic poles, and determines deterioration of the conveying surface based on the detected amplitude of the current.

Abstract: The present invention addresses the problem of inferring the cause of a fault in a distributed system configured from a plurality of distributed devices. A distributed system configured from a plurality of distributed devices capable of communicating over a communication channel, wherein each of the distributed devices has: a communication port for receiving a communication signal from another distributed device; a storage unit for storing device information which expresses properties of the distributed system; and an inspection unit for detecting a communication error via the communication signal, indicating said communication error, and inferring the cause of the communication error by comparing the device information with the communication error information, which includes the time when the communication error occurred, the communication error type and the place where the communication error was detected.

Abstract: In sample transporting devices, the operation sound of a belt conveyor and the driving sound of a drive motor are caused by operating a transporting line when transporting samples, and reducing the driving sound and operation sound is required. In the present invention, a detection signal of the detection sensor 309 is detected by a detection unit 310, and a control unit 111 performs controlling to change the current value and the driving frequency of a belt driving motor 304 of a transporting line 301 and change the driving torque and the driving rotary speed of the transporting line on the basis of the amount and number of samples transported by a belt 303, wherein the amount and number of samples transported by the belt can be obtained by the detection signal or a sample amount measured by a sample transporting system. Accordingly, noise reduction is achieved by driving the belt driving motor under suitable conditions according to the amount and number of the samples transported by the transporting line, and reducing the operation sound of the belt driving motor or mechanisms and the like.
