    摘要: Disclosed are azides of the formula

    WHEREIN R is a polyvalent organic radical, and n and m are each 1-10. They are useful for bonding receptive polymers to ethylenically unsaturated hydrocarbon silane treated glass and, particularly when m 1, for linking together the polymer chains of receptive polymers. Because in the reaction of these compounds with receptive polymers the azidoformate radicals react substantially faster than the azidosulfonyl radicals, linking of receptive polymers with these compounds can be effected in two steps. (1) After forming a blend of receptive polymer and azide of the formula, establishing and maintaining the blend in a temperature range for a period of time selected to permit at least a substantial portion of the azidoformate radicals to react with the polymer with a minimum of the azidosulfonyl radicals having reacted with the polymer, whereby a substantially nonlinked, but reacted, polymer (ankylomeric polymer) is formed, and (2) establishing and maintaining the ankylomeric polymer in a temperature range for a period of time selected to permit at least a substantial portion of the azidosulfonyl radicals to react with the ankylomeric polymer, whereby linking of the polymer chains takes place.
