摘要: A component of a wireless communication device configured for any of a plurality of transmission bandwidths. The component includes at least one processor; and a non-transitory processor-readable storage medium including instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to: monitor a Clear Channel Assessment (CCA) factor or a Request-to-Send (RTS) factor for each of the transmission bandwidths, wherein the CCA factor is a throughput impact estimate based on any CCA transmission deferrals, and the RTS factor is a throughput impact estimate based on any transmission deferrals due to unanswered RTS messages; and dynamically select, based on the CCA factor or the RTS factor, one of the transmission bandwidths that increases a throughput of the wireless communication device.

摘要: Disclosed is a technique for controlling communication between a subject device and an external device. The communication is performed via a second network by an application executed by the subject device connected to a first network different from the second network. In the controlling, occurrence of congestion on a communication line used for the communication is detected by monitoring a state of the communication line. Based on the detecting the occurrence of congestion, a notification is transmitted to the application that has used the communication line on which the occurrence of congestion has been detected. The notification indicates congestion on the communication line in use.

摘要: In one illustrative example, a user plane function (UPF) node may receive, from a controller node, a configuration of an allocated bandwidth for a predefined service classification associated with different predefined types of a communication resource at the UPF node, for each one of a plurality of different predefined service classifications associated with different predefined types of the communication resource. The UPF node may monitor a total bandwidth usage for each predefined service classification. Based on identifying that the total bandwidth usage exceeds a threshold limit, the UPF node may send, to the controller node, a message which indicates a request for readjusting the allocated bandwidth for the predefined service classification, and indicating the total bandwidth usage. The different predefined types of the communication resource may be different network slices at the UPF node, or different Quality of Service (QoS) Flow resource types at the UPF node, as examples.

摘要: When performing data transmission with a first station in a bandwidth power saving mode by using an operating channel of the first station, an access point performs data transmission with a second station by using an operating channel of the second station. Therefore, even if the operating channel of the first station includes a primary channel, the access point can still perform data transmission with the second station by using another channel. Further, for the access point, although the operating channel of the first station occupies only a part of available bandwidth resources of the access point, the access point can still perform data transmission with the second station by using a remaining channel.

摘要: In one implementation, congestion in a satellite communications network is managed based on current resource usage information received for a primary satellite servicing a terminal that is requesting to initiate a communications session. The current resource usage information is received within a communications session setup procedure that identifies a type of the communications session being requested by the terminal. Resources for serving the communications session are determined based on the type of the communications session being requested by the terminal. Thereafter, a determination is made as to whether sufficient resources are available at the primary satellite for servicing the communications session. In response to determining that sufficient resources are not available at the primary satellite for servicing the communications session, a congestion mitigation strategy is determined for servicing the communications session and sent to the primary satellite for implementation.
