    Abstract: A communication method includes determining a ranging signal, sending an nth fragment of N fragments of the ranging signal in a first time unit, and sending an (n+1)th fragment in a second time unit. The first time unit is one of M time units included in an nth time period, and the second time unit is one of M time units included in an (n+1)th time period, where there is a preset interval between the nth time period and the (n+1)th time period, n is an integer greater than 0 and less than N, and both N and M are integers greater than 1.

    Abstract: The present disclosure suggests to expand and improve the method of utilizing channel resources in the 802.11be standard by allowing the use of multiple and non-contiguous portions of a channel. Supporting multiple resource units (MRUs) and non-contiguous resource units (RUs) improves the channel utilization by making it more efficient due to enhancing the capability of leveraging the channel selectivity. To this end, a wireless network device for resource allocation is provided and configured to define a non-contiguous MRU in the bandwidth of the channel. The channel comprises a plurality of RUs, and the MRU is defined based on non-punctured RUs after puncturing one or more of the RUs of the channel, and/or is defined by aggregating two or more non-adjacent RUs of the channel.

    Abstract: This application provides a communication method and a communication apparatus. The method includes: A sending device sends a first physical layer protocol data unit PPDU over a first link, where the first PPDU carries a trigger frame. The sending device sends a second PPDU over a second link, where the second PPDU carries a second trigger frame; and an absolute value of a time difference between an end time of sending the first PPDU and an end time of sending the second PPDU is less than or equal to a first duration, and the first duration is related to a state turnaround time in a short interframe space (SIFS) time.

An embodiment of this application provides a communication method, including: a first access point (AP) generates notification information, where the notification information indicates a station (STA) that is to send a channel sounding physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU), the notification information includes identification information of the STA and identification information of a second AP, the identification information of the STA indicates the STA, and the identification information of the second AP indicates the second AP. The first AP sends the notification information to the second AP and to the STA.
