A bandwidth of channels occupied by the PPDU is N×20 megahertz (MHz), the PPDU includes a preamble sequence having a backward compatibility function and a first extremely high throughput long training field (EHT-LTF), the first EHT-LTF is carried in a first subcarrier set, the first subcarrier set includes one or more subcarriers other than a subcarrier that carries the preamble sequence having the backward compatibility function and a direct current subcarrier in the N 20 MHz channels, and N is a positive integer greater than or equal to 2. The second device receives the PPDU sent by the first device.

摘要: This application provides a data transmission method. When performing data transmission with a first station in a bandwidth power saving mode by using an operating channel of the first station, an access point performs data transmission with a second station by using an operating channel of the second station. Therefore, even if the operating channel of the first station includes a primary channel, the access point can still perform data transmission with the second station by using another channel. Further, for the access point, although the operating channel of the first station occupies only a part of available bandwidth resources of the access point, the access point can still perform data transmission with the second station by using a remaining channel.

摘要: A communication method disclosed in the present disclosure includes: receiving, by an access point, a sending request sent by a first station, and sending clear to send information to the first station; when the access point receives feedback information sent by the first station, allocating, by the access point, a channel to the first station, and allocating a channel to a second station based on remaining bandwidth; generating a first trigger frame, and sending the first trigger frame to the first station and the second station; and receiving uplink data sent by the first station and the second station. The present disclosure further provides an access point and a station that can implement the communication method. According to the present disclosure, bandwidth utilization of the access point and data transmission efficiency can be improved.

摘要: The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for indicating a channel in a wireless local area network WLAN. A sending station generates and sends a physical protocol data unit PPDU, the PPDU includes a preamble field and a data field, a high efficiency signal field HE-SIG-A of the preamble field includes a bandwidth identifier and a channel bonding identifier, and the channel bonding identifier is used to indicate whether a data transmission channel is continuous in a frequency domain. In the foregoing manner, a discontinuous channel in a frequency domain in a wireless local area network is indicated, an available channel for data transmission is improved, and a system throughput is increased.

摘要: A channel access process method in a wireless local area network is provided. The method includes: generating, by a station, a backoff counter value; then performing, by the station, a backoff operation after receiving a first trigger frame, where the backoff operation includes: deducting, from the backoff counter value, a quantity N of subchannels for random access, to obtain a new backoff counter value; and when the new backoff counter value is 0 or a negative number, randomly selecting, by the station, one subchannel from the subchannels for random access, and then accessing the subchannel to send an uplink frame. The present application further provides a corresponding channel access apparatus. Applying the method and the apparatus of the embodiments of the present application improves system access efficiency and avoids a waste of system resources.
