    Abstract: A communications apparatus includes a processor configured to generate a radio frame. The radio frame comprises a data block. The data block comprises a plurality of N pilot blocks, a plurality of M sub-data blocks, and one guard interval (GI). Every two N pilot blocks of the plurality of N pilot blocks are not adjacent. The GI is located at a tail end of the data block, 4≤N≤8, N is an integer, M≥N−1, and M is an integer. The communications apparatus also includes transceiver configured to send the radio frame to a receiver.

    Abstract: A channel access process method in a wireless local area network is provided. The method includes: generating, by a station, a backoff counter value; then performing, by the station, a backoff operation after receiving a first trigger frame, where the backoff operation includes: deducting, from the backoff counter value, a quantity N of subchannels for random access, to obtain a new backoff counter value; and when the new backoff counter value is 0 or a negative number, randomly selecting, by the station, one subchannel from the subchannels for random access, and then accessing the subchannel to send an uplink frame. The present application further provides a corresponding channel access apparatus. Applying the method and the apparatus of the embodiments of the present application improves system access efficiency and avoids a waste of system resources.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an access method, including: sending, to an access point, a first frame that carries uplink transmission requirement information; and if a second frame that carries information about an uplink transmission resource is received from the access point within agreed time period, sending uplink multi-user transmission data to the access point, where the uplink multi-user transmission data is transmitted on the uplink transmission resource; or if the second frame is not received within an agreed time period, accessing, by a station, a channel in a contention access manner that is based on carrier sense CSMA/CA. According to the method provided in the embodiments of the present invention, a channel access manner can be managed, a congestion degree of a system can be decreased, and channel utilization can be increased.

    Abstract: A signal field indication method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: generating, by a transmit end, a PPDU, where the PPDU includes a SIG-A indication field, and the SIG-A indication field includes at least one of a field used to indicate a number of SIG-A information symbols and a field used to indicate a SIG-A information bandwidth; and sending, by the transmit end, the PPDU. According to the method provided in this application, the transmit end may indicate different numbers of SIG-A information symbols and/or different SIG-A information bandwidths.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a data transmission method and a station. The method includes: transmitting, by a station, data of a primary access category (AC) of the station within a current transmission opportunity (TXOP), where to-be-transmitted data of the station includes the data of the primary AC and data of at least one secondary AC; after transmission of the data of the primary AC is completed, determining, by the station, whether there is remaining time in the TXOP; and if there is remaining time in the TXOP, transmitting, by the station, the data of the at least one secondary AC within the remaining time. According to the method provided in the embodiments of the present invention, the current TXOP is fully utilized without a channel resource wasted, thereby improving data transmission efficiency of the station.

    Abstract: Embodiments provide a channel selection method and a transmit end, and the method includes: ranking multiple channels, and generating a backoff count value; sequentially decrementing, from an initial timeslot, the backoff count value in each timeslot according to a ranking sequence of the channels and busy/idle states of all the channels until the backoff count value is 0; and selecting, from the multiple channels according to a result of the decrement performed on the backoff count value and a busy/idle state of at least one of the multiple channels, a channel that is used by the transmit end for sending data. The method and the transmit end can improve channel utilization.
