Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes sending a first request comprising an http-header that includes one or more http-header fields for a webpage from a first user to a computing server, receiving a second request for access to a first information associated with the mobile-client system from the computing server in response to the first request, wherein the first information comprises one or more user-profile fields associated with a user profile of the first user, sending the first information responsive to the second request to the computing server, and receiving the requested webpage customized based on one or more determined attributes of the mobile-client system from the computing server, the one or more attributes being determined based on a comparison between the one or more http-header fields and the one or more user-profile fields with a database comprising attributes of a plurality of types of mobile-client systems.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for optimizing selection of television advertising inventory. In one embodiment, a method may include receiving a set of available ad inventory from a traffic system server, where the set of available ad inventory is received from a hardware component in communication with the traffic system server. The method may include identifying a futuremost ad in the ad inventory representing an end of the first future time period, receiving a traffic system schedule indicative of planned television programming and historical television programming by the traffic system server, and determining that a correlation between a previous traffic system schedule portion selected from the historical television programming and the planned television programming meets an inventory prediction threshold. The method may include generating a first predicted advertisement inventory indicative of advertisement inventory at the traffic system server for a second future time period.

Abstract: In one embodiment, there is provided a method for rendering a web page. The method comprises parsing a Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) document for a web page to generate a Document Object Model (DOM) tree. The method further comprises rendering elements in the DOM tree in a higher-to-lower sequence based on their z-index attributes from a style sheet corresponding to the HTML document. The method further comprises skipping rendering for an element with a lower z-index attribute than an element with a higher z-index attribute if the element with the lower z-index attribute is below the element with the higher z-index attribute and would not be seen by a user viewing the web page.

Abstract: Techniques and solutions are described for detecting potential user actions from a web page. Web page resources may be received for a requested web page, and a document object model (DOM) may be maintained using from the resources. One or more interactive DOM elements may be identified using the created DOM, and the interactive DOM elements may be ranked in an order according to one or more heuristics. In response to receiving a voice command from a user of a client computing device in connection with the web page, a text string may be generated using voice-to-text recognition. The text string may be representative of the received voice command. A list of potential user actions that match the text string may be generated. The matching may be based on a comparison of the text string with at least another text string associated with the ranked interactive DOM elements.
