摘要: A method for computer animation includes receiving an input file that includes an asset geometry, where the asset geometry defines an asset mesh structure, where the asset geometry may exclude an internal support frame, and where logic for custom deformation steps may be included, altogether in a fashion portable and made to produce consistent results across multiple different software and/or hardware platform environments and/or across real-time and/or offline scenarios. The method also includes applying at least one deformer to the asset mesh structure, where the at least one deformer includes a plurality of user-selectable deformer channels, and where each deformer channel is associated with at least a portion of the asset mesh structure and is configured to adjust a visual appearance of the associated portion of the asset mesh structure.

摘要: In some implementations, a computing device can simulate a virtual parallax to create three dimensional effects. For example, the computing device can obtain an image captured at a particular location. The captured two-dimensional image can be applied as texture to a three-dimensional model of the capture location. To give the two-dimensional image a three-dimensional look and feel, the computing device can simulate moving the camera used to capture the two-dimensional image to different locations around the image capture location to generate different perspectives of the textured three-dimensional model as if captured by multiple different cameras. Thus, a virtual parallax can be introduced into the generated imagery for the capture location. When presented to the user on a display of the computing device, the generated imagery may have a three-dimensional look and feel even though generated from a single two-dimensional image.

The operations include receiving, by a messaging application, a request from a first participant to send a voice message to a second participant in a communication session. The operations include, in response to receiving the request, generating an audio file comprising a specified duration of speech input received from the first participant. The operations include associating the audio file with an avatar that represents the first participant. The operations include presenting an interactive visual indicator of the avatar among a plurality of messages in the communication session. The operations include receiving, by the messaging application, input that selects the interactive visual indicator of the avatar. The operations include, in response to receiving the input, rendering an animation of the avatar speaking the speech input while playing the audio file.

摘要: Various methods and systems are provided for authoring and presenting 3D presentations. Generally, an augmented or virtual reality device for each author, presenter and audience member includes 3D presentation software. During authoring mode, one or more authors can use 3D and/or 2D interfaces to generate a 3D presentation that choreographs behaviors of 3D assets into scenes and beats. During presentation mode, the 3D presentation is loaded in each user device, and 3D images of the 3D assets and corresponding asset behaviors are rendered among the user devices in a coordinated manner. As such, one or more presenters can navigate the scenes and beats of the 3D presentation to deliver the 3D presentation to one or more audience members wearing augmented reality headsets.

The audio system identifies sounds from a human sound source in the local area, based in part on sounds detected within the local area. The audio system generates an audio signal for presentation to a remote user within a virtual representation of the local area based in part on a location of the remote user within the virtual representation of the local area relative to a virtual representation of the human sound source within the virtual representation of the local area. The audio system provides the audio signal to a headset of the remote user, wherein the headset presents the audio signal as part of the virtual representation of the local area to the remote user.

Method for generating a temporally coherent plurality of frames in a volumetric video, including finding a deformation field transforming a source frame of the volumetric video into a target frame of the volumetric video including building a texture implicit function for said target frame; training a neural network to generate said deformation field between said source frame and said target frame, said texture implicit function for said target frame being a texture matching loss for said neural network; applying said deformation field to said source frame, thereby generating a deformed source frame; selecting a plurality of frames in said volumetric video; selecting a first source frame in said plurality of frames; repeating the steps of finding said deformed source frame for each target frame, said finding of said deformed source frame following one of the following paths: finding a first deformed source frame from said first source frame; and each subsequent source frame being a deformed source frame from a previous pair of frames; or each of said target frames being a deformation of said first source frame.

The method comprises transmitting satellite communication capability information and converter capability information to one or more other electronic devices; receiving the satellite communication capability information and the converter capability information from the one or more other electronic devices; establishing a call with the one or more other electronic devices using a non-satellite communication network; and transferring the call from the non-satellite communication network to a satellite communication network using the satellite communication capability information and the converter capability information of the electronic device and of the one or more other electronic devices, based on determining that state of the non-satellite communication network is not sufficient for continuing the call.

摘要: An attraction system includes a display that operates to present augmented reality and/or virtual reality (AR/VR) imagery to a guest in an interactive space. The system includes an audio controller that operates an array of speakers that are distributed throughout the interactive space and a controller having one or more processors. The one or more processors are operable to receive data indicative of a state of the guest (e.g., an action, movement, or gesture of the guest, an input received from an input device). The one or more processors are also operable to adjust the AR/VR imagery in response to the state of the guest, and instruct the audio controller to operate the array of the speakers to provide interactive audio based on the state of the guest and such that the interactive audio presents to the guest as though originating from a dynamic portion of the AR/VR imagery.
