    摘要: A shaft balancing machine for fastening a balancing weight to a shaft has a pincer-like device which includes an upper and a lower pincer unit, wherein each pincer unit is in the form of a two-armed lever. The lever is mounted, so as to be rotatable about a lever center of rotation, on a main body. Each pincer unit has, on a first lever end, a receiving part with at least one receptacle for a balancing weight or a shaft. The levers are connected to one another, at the second lever ends thereof situated opposite the receptacles, by way of a stroke-imparting cylinder. In order that the receptacles can be brought into radial contact with the shaft by way of a stroke of the stroke-imparting cylinder, in each case one guide bar is articulated on the receiving part of each pincer unit and on the main body.

    摘要: An aircraft weight and balance data management system includes a central server storing weight and balance data thereon which communicates over a communications network with computer devices belonging to both pilot and maintenance persons respectively. The system i) receives up to date data from maintenance persons, ii) calculates weight and balance specifications for aircraft according to data from maintenance persons, iii) communicates the specifications to a pilot, and iv) calculates variations to the specifications for a loaded aircraft for all fuel burn scenarios. The system communicates up to date weight and balance information relating to large numbers of aircraft configurations to a central location such that all maintenance personnel and pilots have access to the same up to date information.

The shaft defines a length between a proximal end and a distal end configured to support a wheel-tire assembly for common rotation about a longitudinal axis of the shaft. The applicator assembly is supported by the shaft and includes a base portion disposed upon the shaft and operable to translate axially along the length of the shaft, a radial portion connected to the base portion and operable to radially move relative to the base portion between a retracted position and an extended position; and a pressure roller rotatably supported by the radial portion about an axis of rotation. The weight feed assembly is operable to feed a prescribed length of weighted material to the pressure roller.

    摘要: The invention relates to a balancing device, having a measuring system for determining the rotational unbalance of a test object, comprising a spindle unit with a spindle, which is intended to hold the test object and rotate it at a test rotational speed, and a spindle mounting, by which the spindle unit is movably anchored on the machine base, such that the spindle unit can oscillate in a predetermined measuring direction as a result of the unbalance forces occurring during the measurement operation, and at least one sensor, which upon rotation of the spindle detects at least one unbalance characteristic variable occurring in the measuring direction, and a material removal system for balancing the test object by material removal in a predetermined site. The measuring system and the material removal system are designed such that material can be removed when the test object is held in the spindle.
