    摘要: A scroll compressor includes an orbiting scroll that is coupled to a rotating shaft in a casing and includes an orbiting end plate portion coupled to the rotating shaft and an orbiting wrap that has a spiral shape protruding from one surface of the orbiting end plate portion, a fixed scroll including a fixed wrap that is engaged with the orbiting wrap defines a compression chamber with the orbiting wrap therebetween, and a main frame that rotatably supports the orbiting scroll and defines a back pressure chamber with the orbiting scroll. The fixed scroll defines a fixed back pressure hole having a first end configured to communicate with the first back pressure chamber and a second end is located between outer and inner circumferences of the orbiting wrap. The orbiting wrap is configured to cover at least a portion of the fixed back pressure hole during the orbital motion.

    摘要: A compressor may include first and second scrolls, and an axial biasing chamber. Spiral wraps of the scrolls mesh with each other and form compression pockets including a suction-pressure compression pocket, a discharge-pressure compression pocket, and intermediate-pressure compression pockets. The axial biasing chamber may be disposed axially between the second end plate and a component. Working fluid disposed within the axial biasing chamber may axially bias the second scroll toward the first scroll. The second end plate includes outer and inner ports. The outer port is disposed radially outward relative to the inner port. The outer port may be open to a first one of the intermediate-pressure compression pockets and in selective fluid communication with the axial biasing chamber. The inner port may be open to a second one of the intermediate-pressure compression pockets and in selective fluid communication with the axial biasing chamber.

    摘要: A method of operating a wellhead compressor includes selecting a plurality of operating points of the wellhead compressor, measuring the tubing pressure at the plurality of operating points of the wellhead compressor and determining an efficiency achieved by the wellhead compressor when operating at each of the operating points based on at least the measured tubing pressure at each of the operating points. A production curve is generated of well pressure as a function of flow rate from a combination of measured data and predicted data. An operating point of the wellhead compressor is selected from the production curve based on at least the efficiency of the wellhead compressor at the selected operating point and the wellhead compressor is operated at the selected operating point. The steps of the method are repeated after operating the wellhead compressor at the selected operating point for a predetermined period of time.

The pressure control valve comprises an outlet port, a control valve cylinder wall comprising a control port connected with the outlet port, a control plunger which opens and closes the control port, an input pressure plunger connected with the control plunger, and a control spring preloading the control plunger into a closed position. The preload control arrangement comprises a preload cylinder, a preload plunger in the preload cylinder supporting a basis of the control spring, a preload cylinder inlet, and a preload control valve controlling a lubricant pressure.
